Description
Shadows Past: The Tragedy of Lorinar
in its purest form is an Adventure/Exploration pack,
but don't assume that's all there is to it.
The modpack has only around 190 mods (always possible more will be added), and all the mods are configured to fit together to create a rich RPG experience while playing.
Starting out every player will need to punch trees, gather stone, and find a safe place to call home, but once your first night hits you will realize this is no ordinary pack!
With visibility limited by the "Advanced Darkness" mod, undead mobs powered up by the "Consecration" mod, and occasionally even a bloodmoon from the "BloodMoon" mod good luck getting a good nights sleep!
So grab your torch and explore the threatening, but beautiful world of
SHADOWS PAST.
Quests have been added!
Beta 1.5 has the main quest line, and future updates will be the class quest lines.
Beta 1.7 is the final release for a time while I work on other projects, and add more quests to the pack.
Optifine is recommended with this Modpack as it will fix the black grass lighting bug , and was designed using the "Beyond the Lands" texture pack so it is recommended, but not required. also the pack is meant to be played without shaders because it messes with the "Advanced darkness" mod. Texture packs should be fine though. Have Fun, and don't let the Darkness consume your soul!
