After some testing, temperature and thirst are added to this modpack. After a long time considering whether I wanted to include these mechanics, I've opted to put them in.
Lots of mechanics have been tweaked, as well as items being configured for particular mods.
Mods Added:
Configurable Falls
- To add to the difficulty of this modpack, water is now configured to reduce fall damage, not prevent it. Falling in any source block 1 -> 4 blocks deep will only reduce fall damage in increasing increments, instead of preventing it. Falling into an water source 5 blocks deep or deeper will still prevent fall damage. Fall damage begins at 5 block heights, so prepare accordingly.

- Yet another performance mod, who would've guessed.
Thirst Was Taken
Cold Sweat
- These two work in tandem to up the difficulty, especially early game, significantly. Now you have to take measures to not run out of hydration, and keep a close eye on your temperature.
The Hordes
- After finally testing this mod, infection and hordes are now a thing. I've configured a larger list of items that will heal infection, so you don't need to waste all of your gold on apples.
Freeze It, and Heat It!
- This mod I will still be testing. While I'm on board with temperature and thirst, food freezing and rotting I'm still on the fence about. I'll monitor how I feel about this mechanic as I play.
Rustic Delight
- A neat expansion to Farmer's Delight that adds several incredibly useful crops; cotton for string and wool, more squid delectables, and even peppers.
Mods Removed:
Removal list is quite small this time around.
Sun and Moon Celestial Configuration
- Turns out changing the size of the sun and moon doesn't bode well when you have 5 mods that also change the moon, and a sun and moon texture pack. This mod was incompatible with every other sun and moon mod, so it had to go.
