In this test project modpack, the player begins their journey in a world that seems normal at first, but quickly reveals a terrifying truth: parasites from space have arrived and are slowly infecting everything. These creatures spread across the land, corrupting nature, animals, and entire biomes, turning the world into a hostile and unpredictable environment. The player soon realizes that survival is no longer just about gathering resources or building shelter — it is about understanding the threat and preparing for a long fight against an invasive lifeform that never stops evolving.
At the beginning, the player is weak and poorly equipped, while the parasites are already spreading and growing stronger. They hunt the player, adapt to the environment, and attempt to infect everything they encounter. Because of this, the player must quickly come to an important realization: the only real chance of survival is technological progress. Primitive tools and simple defenses will not be enough to stop an ever-growing biological threat.
Through exploration, resource gathering, and careful planning, the player must develop increasingly advanced technologies. Machines, automated systems, powerful weapons, and protective equipment will become essential tools in the struggle against the infestation. Technology allows the player to defend themselves, research the enemy, and possibly find ways to slow or stop the spread of the parasites.
The world becomes a constant battlefield where every step outside the base is dangerous. The parasites are everywhere — in forests, caves, and ruined landscapes they have already corrupted. The player must adapt, build, experiment, and fight.
In the end, the player faces a difficult question: will they be able to save the planet from total infection, or will their only option be to survive long enough to escape this doomed world?
