Overview
Roots & Realms is a modular sandbox modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1, built around player freedom and discovery. Every system, from magic and machinery to exploration and farming, has its own "module," allowing players to focus on the gameplay style they enjoy most. R&R doesn’t force a specific path. Each module stands on its own, offering depth for players who want it, and freedom for those who don't. Whether you thrive in exploration, engineering, farming, or spellcrafting, you’ll find a realm suited to your roots.
Exploration & Adventure
Venture into a world filled with new structures, dungeons, and bosses. Mods like Cataclysm and Pillagers Arise bring dangerous challenges and dungeons, while Dynamic Difficulty ensures your enemies grow stronger as you do. Each adventure can lead to powerful artifacts, new biomes, and endgame-level loot.
Technology & Automation
Build sprawling factories and efficient systems with your choice of tech mods.
Create and its many addons (Crafts & Additions, Enchantment Industry, Diesel Generators) offer kinetic contraptions, energy systems, and automation without traditional power.
Prefer not to use Create? Use Refined Storage or Applied Energistics 2 for large-scale item management, or Sophisticated Storage and Classic Pipes for a good early-game solution, and generate power with Powah.

Magic & Power
Harness the arcane through Iron’s Spells & Spellbooks, crafting powerful tomes and magical gear. Pair it with Apotheosis to reach divine power by reforging weapons, socketing gems, and collecting affix items that rival the strongest gear in the game. Farming & Food
For those who enjoy a slower life, Farmer’s Delight and its addons introduce hundreds of new recipes, crops, and cooking tools. The Spice of Life system rewards variety - eating new foods permanently increases your health. Grow, cook, and experiment to discover every dish and unlock powerful bonuses.

This is my first and only modpack, and is only intended for use inside my friend group. As such, I may update the pack occasionally in order to fix balancing oversights, but support will be very limited.
