Modpack Version 0.2.0 - The Identity Shift & Core Rebuild

first off, the OG gamemode has been pulled back, due to ALOT of bugs and people thinking it was a new update, we are planning to bring this back as a modpack so stay tuned!..

This is a MAJOR UPDATE that redefines the core gameplay experience and features a significant shift in combat and world generation. Please note the changes to combat, health, and structures before updating a long-running world.

✨ NEW STUFFF

• Character Creation Added! You can now customize your starting character's appearance, bringing a new level of personalization to your journey.

• Heart System Rework: The original heart display is back, now featuring several additions and quality-of-life improvements to health management.

• Human NPC Replacements: Villagers have been replaced by new Human NPCs! These NPCs feature expanded interactions, and will populate villages and structures, making the world feel more alive.

• Biome Info Display: Discover new biomes with a clean, immersive heads-up display that provides key information about the environment you enter.

• New Special Mob: A challenging new special mob now has a rare chance to spawn in the world, offering high-risk, high-reward encounters.

⚔️ Combat Refocus & Controls

• Removed Better Combat Mod (BCM): We have made the decision to return to the Original Minecraft Combat System (OG Combat).

• Dynamic Crosshair Introduced: A new Dynamic Crosshair provides clear feedback on your attack cooldown and accuracy, offering a polished feel even with the return to OG Combat.

• New UI & Sound Effects: Overhauled the sword and other melee sound effects to be more impactful. A completely new User Interface (UI) aesthetic has been implemented across menus and HUD elements.

• OG Sound Option: Added an in-game setting to revert specific sounds to their OG RLcraft counterparts for players who prefer the classic audio experience.

⚙️ Performance and Optimization

• Significant Lag Fixes: Several configuration files were scrutinized and optimized to address lingering frame and tick lag. This update should feel smoother than 0.1.2.

• Removed SOME Structures: To improve world generation performance and eliminate conflicts with new NPC systems, several non-essential structures have been removed. We will be reviewing and adding optimized custom structures in future versions.

❌ Removed Mods

• Better Combat Mod, we have no plans to bring this back.
