RIFTBORN v3.4.3 — Menu Fix + Essential Multiplayer

This update focuses on fixing the main menu, improving visual consistency, preserving performance options, and adding an easier way to play RIFTBORN with friends.

Main Menu Rework

The previous custom menu caused several UI elements to overlap or stretch incorrectly on different resolutions and GUI scales.

This version rebuilds the title screen using a safer approach:

• Fixed oversized and overlapping menu elements.
• Removed unstable FancyMenu overrides from the vanilla Minecraft buttons.
• Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Mods, Options and other vanilla buttons now keep their original functionality.
• Added the correct RIFTBORN: Ashes of Yggdrasil project logo.
• Added “By GustavoGGMill” branding.
• Removed the default Minecraft Java Edition title artwork from the main presentation.
• Added a new dark-fantasy RIFTBORN background.
• Added subtle parallax movement to the title screen.
• Improved visual consistency with the purple, gold and dark-stone RIFTBORN identity.

Performance Modes

The custom performance controls remain available directly from the main menu.

These presets are applied directly to Minecraft's video settings without requiring an additional video-settings mod.

Essential Multiplayer Added

Essential Mod is now included in RIFTBORN.

This makes it much easier to play the campaign with friends without setting up a traditional dedicated server.

Players can:

• Host their singleplayer RIFTBORN world.
• Invite friends directly.
• Join friends through Essential's social system.
• Keep using RIFTBORN's FTB Teams integration for shared quest progression.

All players should use the same RIFTBORN version when playing together.

Stability Improvements

The previously added Extra Video Settings mod has been permanently removed because it caused a fatal startup mixin incompatibility with the current Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge environment.

The performance presets now work without it.

Additional validation was performed on this release:

• No duplicate CurseForge project IDs.
• No JSON errors.
• No KubeJS JavaScript syntax errors.
• Main menu no longer overrides vanilla buttons.
• LOW Mode preserved.
• Potato Mode preserved.
• Essential multiplayer integration included.

Existing RIFTBORN Systems Preserved

This update does not remove the major RPG systems already introduced in previous versions.

RIFTBORN still includes:
