This time... heavy hunter buffs to make them absolutely brutal if you try to fight them, you don't have to worry about those if you avoid fighting them though
they'll counter your abilities and reflect damage if you try fighting them, however despite their insane power, it's still technically possible to do so
either with brute force or by outsmarting them, it's just that you're supposed to feel helpless when it comes to fighting them
recipe changes:
+ added stonecutter recipe for amethyst shards, looking for multiple geodes was tedious enough, this will lower it to just 1 (or some enderman gifts)
hunter changes:
- hunters have slight thorns and more knockback resistant, so fighting them is harder, but fleeing isn't
- hunters use your breath ability against you, please don't try using it against them, it only makes them stronger
- they also destroy darts when below 50% hp, so you can't snipe them either
= you can see their hp, it's more about intimidating you rather than making it easier to fight them though
- they heal when there are no players in a 40 block radius
+ they get extra 12 protection enchant levels (-48% damage resistance), they don't have permanent -80% resistance from the start
- but their resistance will slowly go up over time, making them even stronger than before (yes, that means eventually they'll be 2x tankier, but 2.5x less tanky at the beginning)
= you'll get a notification above your hotbar when they level up
other changes:
- dragon treat only restores mana to full instead of giving infinite mana for over a minute, so it's more like a quick mana refil rather than giving you insane power for over a minute
+ spikes can now break chorus flowers (and stems around it)
= reworked the age system for other dragons, they'll grow even in unloaded chunks, but you cannot feed them anymore to speed it up, end crystals will double their growth speed
+ added QoL features, unlockable by completing quests, can be toggled if you don't want those (step assist, night vision, animal calm)
= changed around some strings of text
fixes:
+ weather patterns won't always be the same, also getting rid of the thunderstorm on day 1
+ friendly dragons shouldn't get negative age and scale anymore
= default render distance is now 12
+ some commands that don't need to be executed every tick will be executed every 5 seconds instead, it should slightly improve the performance
