overview:
right now rolling in some quick balance changes
flight seems to be a way too significant part of the modpack, pretty much essential
these balance changes should add some QoL features and make flying something that you don't want to use all the time, but rather in case of emergency or quick movement
in reality, flying would be much more exhausting than running a marathon anyways, so you can say it makes things more "realistic"

buffs:
- massively raised shard/heart drop rates, getting those feels just too grindy
- increased fish/meat food values (meat +2 hunger poitns, fish +4 saturation points)
- increased starting hp (11->12) to help with not getting 1-shot in earlygame
- hunters are 20% slower, so it's possible to outrun them without flying now, don't let them catch you off guard though
- friendly dragons also gain resistance III while in the radius of an end crystal, increased healing speed
- increased natural growth speed for most stages (down to 5h, 10h, 12h, 72h)
- you can use diamonds instead of emeralds for eye of ender crafting
- increased end crystal range to 64 blocks
- hunters get highlighted when near the player
- increased the grace period at the start of the hunt 30s -> 90s

nerfs:
- flying now consumes 50% more hunger, you really don't want to have it enabled all the time (unless around an end crystal)
- reduced top speed of flight by 33%
- flying gets worse under 50% hunger rather than 30%
- spin ability cooldown greatly increased 5s -> 20s

rework:
- replaced eye of ender with ender chest for accelerating the stage 1 growth, so it doesn't conflict with throwing the eyes
- spike ability now costs 2 mana to use, but deals 6 damage per level, which allows for easier 1-shoting of weaker mobs, especially at higher levels


other changes:
- introduced pre-defined controls (R - ability, C - cycle ability, T - spin), auto jump off
- default gamma set to 100% to make darkness more bearable (apparently rubidium doesn't allow to go higher than that)
- disabled most hotkeys from essential mod since its cosmetics are basically useless (might remove it if there's a better alternative later on)
- added shulker shell crafting for extra inventory space in midgame

plans for later:
- add an option to configure the hunter difficulty in-game before the hunt begins
- a guide book with basic information
- fix a bug with hunters losing their gear 
- clean up and optimize the datapack code a bit
- aim for more balanced gameplay
- multiplayer integrity (depending how hard it gets to make it work without any issues)
- make it resemble vanilla minecraft, but with a different perspective
