🧾 PureMash Tech — Version 1.2 Changelog

🛠️ General Overview

This update focuses on improving stability, world generation, and overall performance. Several critical bugs have been fixed, especially those preventing world creation and causing extreme frame rate drops.
A few mods have been replaced or downgraded to ensure better compatibility across the modpack.

🧩 Fixes & Stability Improvements

  • Fixed an issue where world creation would get stuck at 0% or crash with
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Mod 'architectury' is not available!
This was caused by internal conflicts between KubeJS, FTB Stuff & Things, and Architectury API.

  • KubeJS and related scripts have been reconfigured to prevent cross-mod initialization errors.
The FTB Stuff & Things mod will remain temporarily disabled until an updated compatible version is released.

  • The "Create Sifting" mod caused breaking issues with the Create ecosystem.
It has been temporarily disabled until the developer releases a fix.

  • Biome conflicts resolved:
The combination of Oh The Biomes We've Gone and Biomes O' Plenty caused infinite loading at world creation (0%).
The first mod (Oh The Biomes We’ve Gone) has been disabled indefinitely to maintain stability.

⚙️ Performance and Optimization

  • Removed Embeddium and its add-on Monocle due to severe FPS drops during world initialization, especially with shaders enabled or VSync off (which caused frame rate to drop to 1 FPS).
→ Replaced with Sodium + Iris, ensuring smoother shader rendering and higher average FPS.

  • Removed Distant Horizons, which was generating massive lag and frame timing instability, even on high-end CPUs and GPUs.
The modpack now runs consistently across a wide range of systems.

  • General optimization improvements to background processes, memory handling, and rendering routines.
The game should now start faster and maintain a more stable frame rate.

🧰 Mod Changes

  • Added several new mods for quality of life and technical enhancement.
(Full list available in the Modpack manifest.)

  • Compact Machines now fully functional!
The mod has been downgraded to a stable beta build for 1.21.1, which fixes crafting and world-linking features.
Compact dimensions and machine setups now behave as intended.

  • Some outdated or redundant mods were removed to reduce overhead and ensure full compatibility between Create-based automation, optimization frameworks, and visual mods.

🚀 Additional Notes

  • KubeJS remains at a newer version due to essential bug fixes, even if FTB Stuff & Things is currently disabled.

  • Shaders are now fully supported via Iris + Sodium, tested for stability with VSync and dynamic lighting enabled.

  • Future updates will focus on expanding the quest system, refining progression balance, and adding curated late-game technology content.

💬 Developer Note

Thank you for supporting PureMash Tech!
Your feedback helps make the modpack more stable and enjoyable.
If you encounter issues or have suggestions, please report them on the CurseForge page — every detail counts.
Stay tuned for version 1.3, which will focus on new world-generation content and refined automation tiers.

🧪 Known Issues

  • Minor shader desynchronization may occur when enabling VSync with certain displays.

  • Temporary script limitations with KubeJS (awaiting mod updates).

  • Some world structures from biome mods may generate twice in rare cases.

  • FPS may drop briefly when entering heavily automated bases (expected with large-scale Create setups).
