Description
This modpack hopes to provide a player, the ability to do what they want in minecraft. Following the style of a kitchen-sink combining magic and science mods, the difference being that it remains a fairly manageable size of modpack while still providing many avenues of progress to the player.
Each mod in this pack has been carefully selected with the express purpose of adding new content on an individual basis, we don't want to have a situation where you type in the thing you want into JEI and have say four different things pop up and you don't know which one is the one you want, but yet we want there to still be choice.
We want the player to be able to say actually you know what, I do want to use industrial craft instead of thermal expansion, or industrial foregoing instead of forestry. We want to keep these kinds of options available while trying to preserve a experience that feel coherent, that all of the pieces are there for a reason, that each one fits together to make one whole.
That has been the goal of this project, it was decided quickly that for that to work this pack would have to be small and we would have to be decisive about which mods we wanted to keep and which ones we like but just don't add enough content or are too similar to another to warrant a place in the pack, it has been a difficult process but I believe at least for the initial purposes we have achieved what we sought.
Inception:
Propeller Craft isn't exactly the most descriptive of names. It's named after the small community we are forming which we have named Propeller due to events that transpired on one of our previous adventures. (Caused by bugs in the 1.13 snapshots end cities were not spawning so it was decided that we should make our own end ships and the question as to whether they should be powered by propeller or not came up, its a long story)
It is intended to be used primarily on the Propeller modded server, we are small community currently of four members who are having a good time enjoying the company of one another while playing minecraft. Recently we made the decision to try out a modded playthrough, since one of our team has never played modded before and another is not well versed in it I decided to put together a medium sized modpack that aims to provide enough choices to give and idea of what modded can be like, without overwhelming the user.
