PROJECT: Geometra

MAJOR UPDATE - "SUNSETTING ORIGINS" UPDATE

With the Arclight infrastructure stable and the power of plugins and mods unleashed, our team has done thorough work to see what new exciting additions could spice up life on the official Project: Geometra server. Needless to say, this may be our biggest update yet!

NEW TO THE MODPACK

• Create (and additional add-ons) - Full steam ahead! This neat mod allows you to build elaborate contraptions and even automated trains. In singleplayer, the sky is the limit of your engineering prowess; however, on the official server, the use of Create will be heavily restricted for balancing and lag reasons, but be ready for some fun new mechanical features around the city of Newslate and possibly even beyond!
• New Cobblemon - Several species have been discovered on Geometra! Togepi, Togetic, Togekiss, Seviper, and Zangoose make their debut. Will you be the first to catch them all?
• Sophisticated Storage - Tired of your basement being full of backpacks? We are too. Why don't you give yourself a little upgrade and enjoy some Sophisticated Storage, which will make organizing your belongings much more interesting and feasible!
• New Cobblemon add-ons - Ever wanted to easily know the catchable/spawnable Cobblemon in your vacinity? Fear not: the new Pokénav will be your go-to tool for finding all nearby Cobblemon, from common to ultra rare! But that's not all... ever wish sending out your ace Cobblemon was just a little more spicy? With firework ball capsules, you can customize a light show for your favorite 'mons for when they emerge from their Pokéball!
• More compatibility between mods - So many furnitures, so many wood types, and yet it feels like your choices are limited. Well, no longer! This update restores compatibility to Every Compat and MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod Refurbished, so you can now enjoy a plethora of different colors and moods for your furnishing desires!

NEW TO THE SERVER (Server changes to happen within a week of modpack update)

• Bigger city, bigger fun - Newslate City has received tremendous expansions, freeing up a lot of 1x2 and even some brand new 2x2 plots for people to go crazy with their builds!
• Community projects have been finished - As we retire the old Community Project system, we are incorporating every build that never got finished to help players find all the things they've been missing during their time on Geometra.
• For glory, and for fame - Tournaments and pageants are making a substantial return, now being run by players and endorsed by admins! In tournaments you can now win medals, like how you could win ribbons at pageants; collect enough of these prizes and flex on your homies, or perhaps trade them in for super high-end rewards!
• Questing overhauls that offer much more adventure, and far less grind - From the new player tour guide to lore quests to profession quests (such as fishing), questing is about to go from a necessary chore to an exciting and pleasant activity that helps you feel like you are really a part of the world!
• We fixed some other big issues too - Don't cry, your lecterns are working once more! We tackled a lot of smaller issues with individual mods to restore core functions that players were missing, so now there is no excuse to get creative with your plot!
