Primeval Dominion - Version 1

Primeval Dominion is a dinosaur survival, exploration, and adventure Minecraft modpack that drops players into a dangerous prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs, ancient ruins, expanded biomes, survival mechanics, technology, vehicles, farming, and long-term progression.

This modpack is currently a work in progress, and Version 1 is the first playable release. Features, balancing, configs, world generation, progression, and mod selection may change in future updates as the pack continues to develop.

Main Features

Dinosaur Survival

Primeval Dominion focuses on a prehistoric survival experience where dinosaurs are a major part of the world. Players can encounter dinosaur-based content, fossils, archaeology systems, and natural dinosaur spawning that makes exploration more dangerous and exciting.

Prehistoric Exploration

The world is built around discovery. With expanded terrain generation, new biomes, dense forests, caves, ruins, temples, villages, bunkers, underwater structures, and improved dungeons, players are encouraged to travel, explore, and uncover what the world has hidden.

Ancient Ruins and Structures

Version 1 includes many structure-focused mods that overhaul exploration. Players can find improved jungle temples, desert temples, mineshafts, strongholds, ocean monuments, villages, bridges, underground areas, and other custom structures that make the world feel older, larger, and more alive.

Survival Mechanics

The pack adds more depth to survival through thirst, temperature, seasons, weather, storms, tornadoes, food variety, farming, fishing, and environmental immersion. Players will need to think about more than just hunger when surviving in the wild.

Farming, Cooking, and Food Progression

Primeval Dominion includes expanded farming and cooking systems with many food-related mods. Players can grow crops, cook larger meals, use expanded recipes, explore cultural food additions, and create a stronger survival base through agriculture.

Building and Base Design

The modpack includes many building and decoration options, including furniture, windows, doors, roofs, bridges, lights, paths, fences, trapdoors, paintings, and other construction-focused additions. Players can build anything from a jungle research base to a fortified dinosaur survival compound.

Technology and Industry

Version 1 includes technology and machinery options for players who want deeper progression. Industrial systems, engineering, reactors, automation, storage, furnaces, and advanced resource processing give players more ways to develop their world over time.

Vehicles, Aircraft, and Travel

Players can explore the world through added vehicles, aircraft, gliders, trains, planes, cars, helicopters, and other transportation options. This helps make the large prehistoric world easier and more exciting to navigate.

Combat and Defense

Primeval Dominion includes expanded weapons, shields, tactical movement, security systems, and defensive tools. Players can prepare for dangerous wildlife, hostile mobs, and exploration threats with stronger combat and protection options.

Immersion and Visuals

The pack includes shaders, ambient sounds, sound physics, footsteps, falling leaves, enhanced visuals, dynamic trees, weather effects, and biome improvements to make the world feel more cinematic and alive.

Quality of Life and Performance

Version 1 also includes many quality-of-life and performance mods, such as maps, minimaps, JEI, inventory improvements, configuration tools, optimization mods, compatibility fixes, crash assistance, and server-friendly improvements.

Current Status

Primeval Dominion Version 1 is the foundation of the modpack. The main goal of this release is to establish the prehistoric survival identity, world exploration, dinosaur content, and core gameplay systems. Future updates may improve balance, add quests, refine progression, adjust configs, improve compatibility, and expand the dinosaur survival experience further.
