Update 1.0: Finality
MAJOR CHANGES
Classes:
Added:
- Summoner Main Class (Turned Summoner Subclass into Conjurer)
- Bloodripper Subclass
- Spiritcaller Subclass
- Beastmaster Subclass
Changed:
- Druid -> Dreamweaver
- Summoner -> Conjurer
- Duelist -> Bounty Hunter
- Gave all Subclasses Passive Effects
- Decoupled Subclasses from Main Classes. Now you can mix and match Main Classes and Subclasses to fit your playstyle. However, certain Subclasses Synergize with your Main Class and you get a large stat boost for choosing the correct synergy.
Removed:
- Subclass Lootboxes
Items:
- Summoning Discs (3 Levels: Lesser, Superior, and Paramount)
- Elixir Shards (4 Levels: Lesser, Superior, Paramount, Exalted)
- Beastmaster Totems (3 Levels: Common, Uncommon, Rare)
- Time Turner
- Mindshatter Orb
- More that I can't remember
Pets/Summons:
- You can now tame/summon ANY mob. Monsters, animals, bosses, etc. Of course it had to be balanced so there's leveling up and restrictions around taming the best mobs
- Elixirs now give your Pets and Summons special abilities.
Elixirs:
- Reworked many of the Elixirs and balanced their effects.
- Added benefits to Pets/Summons for each Elixir
Shop:
- Filled out the shop with many more items and fixed some currency issues.
Ender Dragon Fight:
- The Ender Dragon now has different phases and 3 mini-bosses to defeat while at the dragon fight. When the mini-bosses spawn the dragon becomes invulnerable until you kill the miniboss.
Coins:
- Made Coin drops much more common.
Horror:
- Death
Difficulty:
- Removed the DUSK mod as it was causing a lot of issues with lag and balancing.
- Made it much easier during the day
- Many of the annoying/unfair mobs don't spawn anymore.
- Players now spawn in villages and also have a premade house they can place down anywhere.
- Almost all enemy mobs burn in the sunlight
Much, Much more
MINOR CHANGES:
- Fixed a ton of bugs (and definitely introduced a ton more)
- Changed a lot of the world generation settings.
- Updated ParCool so there are a few new moves like vertical wall run
- Added a few resource packs to make everything look better
- Many more that I can't remember.
IMPORTANT:
I planned on chopping up this update and releasing it in smaller chunks but I obviously decided against it. I had close to 10 medium-sized updates planned however I didn't feel right about artificially withholding content so I just released it all in this one patch which is why I jumped all the way to a 1.0 release. Unfortunately, this modpack has taken up so much more of my time than I ever anticipated and I want to give it a rest for a good while. I will still make some balance adjustments if I get player feedback and I will fix bugs that are ruining the player experience, especially if they are game-breaking. I do have some plans for a 1.20.1 update that would include a lot of really cool new features but I can't imagine I will even start working on it for at least a few months and then it will be a few more months after that before release.
