v 1.1.7 Changelog
Major Fixes
- Fixed Nether Worldgen. As of right now, this will not fix the Nether gen of pre-existing worlds, only new worlds. There's a way to switch over your preexisting world to the fixed nether gen, but it uses NBTExplorer and is a bit of an advanced technique, so if you want to try it, make sure you do a backup and we can advise you in the discord of what needs to be done. Everyone else, just wait until we have a better fix available.
New Mods
- Pixelmon Information - added (and properly configurated) to give just a little bit more information when you shift-crouch.
- Magnetism - for providing some early game magnetic items to make foraging and apricorn harvest less frustrating.
New Quests
- Rule of 8 quest in Tips and Tricks explains how far away Nearby Blocks work to change spawns.
- Split off forage mint seed task to seperate quest.
- Quest for Christmas Delibird.
- Quest for Drifloon catch in Love Ball (Playing it safe, x8 catch rate)
- Quest for Castform catch in Love Ball (Risking it with a x2 catch rate for a fire/ice/water mon in early game).
- Quest to Summon 1 trainer for a double battle. Still experimental. Could use double battle sets/themes recommended by players for future trainer.
- Missing Ice berry/lure/gem quests added to Influsions chapter; you can now get the Icicle Plate and Ice Memory.
- Green slime quest given same importance as red slime quest to start slime cake quests.
- Quest to make Enchanted Bottles added to end of Mimicarnation/Rich Soul Soil quest line.
- A secret quest line has been added to detect if the player starts going the Fel Pumpkin route, and to reward them for studying the JEI and performing out-of-the-box thinking.
- Orechid Ignem quest added.
- Celestial Gateway quest added
- Tree Beacon quest added
- New quests for the Evershifting Fountain
Quest Fixes
- Blood cake quests not properly 'consume' submitted Pokemon.
- Missing checkbox added to Dazzle Layer in Vertical Pokedex.
- Raw Pasta quest can now be completed.
Quest Tweaks
- Some improved text on slime cake quests, including what to do if you've already used your Duskull for something else.
- Some quests no longer hide text until completed, such as Seed Kit, and Rain Dance. This helped to add additional information about how to complete them.
- Rock Collection given single line of text.
- Dawn/Dusk/Leaf Stone and Moon/Fire Stone given additional text related to foraging on ore blocks.
- Starmetal ingot quest tweaked to include 1 nugget; this is to help anyone reading the questbook to quickly find it in the JEI.
- Quest for collector crystal made optional and repeatable, to help prevent situations where someone softlocks themselves by throwing it off a cliff. Use responsibly.
- Many Quests, including all in tips and tricks, and all hidden quests, changed to 'Optional', and shapes updated. Shapes in hidden quests changed to gears - not that players will ever see it - to help with development.
- Invasion Shut off Valve now uses gears to show it's a type of option.
- Two Flying Pokemon quests had rewards upgraded from small candy to medium.
- Bloodborne Duskull quest can now accept Duskclops or Dusknoir. It looks for 2 tasks complete, which are usually going to be the pokemon submission and the cake. Technicaly you can complete it by ribbon-ing a second duskull, evolving it to dusclops, submitting both, and losing one forever, but to do that you'd have to go out of your way to make your life harder.
- The Blood Slime seeds are no longer so tightly tied to the Smithy quest. Instead of requiring a cake to start the quest, any blood will do. Additionally, the green slime seed quest is not dependent on the blood slime one. This might make the 16 green slime quest later in the chapter no longer necessary (it used to gate the original slimy sweed quest), but we'll leave it there for now.
- Some details added to slime skull quests.
- More quests have been given TMs/TRs.
Structure Tweaks
- Altar book shelf now contains 'Magnetic Stick,' a wooden sword enchanted with Magnetism.
Settings
- Pixelmon Information config settings improved.
Tag Fixes
- forge:tools/shovels tag fixed.
- Aurinium given storage blocks/ingots tags.
Recipe Fixes
- Compacting drawer recipes restored for ingots/blocks/nuggets. This was done using the config for Storage Drawers.
- Smeltery block pouring recipes for several metals fixed. Previously required 296 mb which was clogging the smeltery with junk. Properly changed to 1296 mb (144*9).
- Pixelmon Elevator recipe greatly improved to make it much cheaper. Basically contains the ingredients of a bubble elevator.
- More uses given for Bronze, including fluid pipes
- Upgrades from mods like storage backpacks and storage drawers given some alternative upgrades that use other metals (e.g. bronze, electrum, niilite, manyullyn) as alternatives.
- Emerald storage drawer upgrade changed to netherite, to match sophisticated backpacks. This is not yet reflected in the assets/appearance/name.
Drops Changes
- Alcremie now has a 1% chance to drop each of the sweets.
- Other pokemon can also now drop sweets, in correspondance to their appearance.
New Spawns
- Christmas Delibird will spawn in place of Eiscue under certain conditions.
Species Changes
- New Valentines Day Drifloon Form, Ghost/Fairy type with almost exclusively support abilities and tankier stats; you have to catch a Drifloon in a Love ball to get one.
- Nincada, Ninjask, and Shedinja all now learn Cut naturally through level up. This provides an alternative path to Cut (aside from building the stonecutter and recieving it as an HM).
- Budew and Roselia now learn Cut naturally through level up.
Spawn Fixes
- Absol spawn is fixed; no longer spawns Stonejourner.
- Christmas Pokemon now correctly spawn on Ice layer in response to Spruce Leaves, not Dark Oak leaves.
- Sandshrew is correctly restrained to the ice layer.
- Deep Dark Beach Pokemon correctly require water
- Deep Dark Desert Dunsparce correctly requires NO water
- Spawn rule files for Azurill, Alcremie, Aromatisse, Rabsca, Rellor, Rhyperior and Slurpuff now obey naming conventions
- Fletchling's group spawn removed for being inconsistent
- Wormadam spawns on land properly.
- Luvdisc spawns properly in normal water, not underground water.
- Porygon line now accurately looks for a PC to increase spawns with. Normal Porygon are attracted to Pink PCs, whereas most palette forms are attracted to Black. It is not possible to use tags in this version.
- Sinistea (Christmas)'s Min and Max Y have been fixed.
- Relicanth no longer spawns everywhere.
- Probopass's spawn level range increased to 30-50.
- The following Pokemon were given sand as an anticondition for spawning to help beach Pokemon spawn more easily, to match a small number of Pokemon who were already given this on Soil and Stone Layers
