Update 1.21 Changelog

Hello

A new update has been released for the modpack and accompanying server:

Whats been added/changed:

-Players can now sort their inventory/chests inventory with the press of a button (while in their inventory)

-Mob Spawns will be increased, more on this below.

-More dangerous boss enemies added into overworld.

-a day counter has been added, see below as to why.

-does it tick has been added to help with tick issues.

-some more recipes can now use materials of the same type from other mods.

-goblins can now appear and trade with players.

-New light sources added.

-New Mob types added (passive and hostile).

-New Sounds added.

-New quests added.

-Cosmetic Armor sets can be worn now.

-Players can change their models.

Currency


Like trading with people? Building a massive venue in which players can use plots to sell goods? Sounds like you can benefit from a universal trading currency. Over time, a new currency will be added. This currency will be synced up with everything, quests, villagers, mob drops, you name it. Sell items to other players for money, and use that money in a massive shop thats going to be built. This will be an admin shop, housing all items in the game (mostly, no im not selling dirt.). Or, use this money to trade with villagers and players!

Difficulty

The one thing thats been heavily watered down is the difficulty of this iteration, but for a very good reason. It was very, very easy to get snatched up and killed in earlier versions, so to make it fair, leveling of mobs was severely lobotomized and watered down to make sure all people, both new and returning, could get a good grasp on some of the mechanics. Mobs will now revert to the daily leveling system, obtaining a level bonus per minecraft day that passes. If you’re paranoid about this, make sure to watch that day counter. Mobs will also have a random level bonus between 1 and 10 (so if a mob is level 20, it can be from level 20 - 30).
