⚙️ What the Modpack Actually Does

This pack breaks down the game’s engine and optimizes it piece by piece using a curated selection of community-favorite mods.

1. Core Rendering Engines

Sodium: The absolute backbone of modern Minecraft optimization. It replaces the game's default rendering engine, vastly improving framerates and reducing stuttering.
ImmediatelyFast: Speeds up the rendering of immediate mode elements (like the UI, HUD, and text), which often bottleneck the game.
Sodium Extra & Reese's Sodium Options: Expands Sodium's video settings, giving you granular control over particles, animations, and visual tweaks.

2. Intelligent Culling

EntityCulling: Uses asynchronous path-tracing to hide entities and block entities (like chests) that are behind walls, drastically reducing rendering overhead in crowded areas.
MoreCulling & CullLeaves: Further optimizes geometry by only rendering the visible outer layers of leaves and complex blocks.

3. Memory & Load Time

FerriteCore: Fundamentally reduces the RAM required to play Minecraft, preventing garbage collection stutters.

⚠️ Known Quirks & Possible Issues

The LOD Clash: The pack currently includes config files for Bobby, Distant Horizons, and Voxy. All three do the same thing: render chunks beyond the normal view distance. Running them together will cause massive conflicts, visual glitches, and severe memory leaks. Recommendation: Choose only one of these before playing. By default, all 3 mods should be turned off by default.
Technical Server Mechanics: ServerCore dynamically adjusts mob spawn caps and view distances based on how heavily the game is lagging. If you are building highly precise, vanilla-mechanic mob farms, you may want to disable ServerCore's dynamic limits in its config so your farm rates don't fluctuate.

🎮 Default Behavior

Out of the box, the pack is designed to be plug-and-play.

Launch: The game will load incredibly fast.
Gameplay: Video settings will look slightly different (thanks to Sodium). You should instantly notice a smoother framerate and faster chunk generation.
Backgrounding: If you Alt+Tab out of Minecraft, the game will look like it's freezing—this is Dynamic FPS doing its job to save your PC's power!
Quitting: Clicking "Save and Quit" will happen instantly, dumping you right to the main menu.

🛠️ How to Install and Use

To ensure all the optimization mods configure correctly, this modpack requires a custom launcher. You cannot install it directly through the default Vanilla Minecraft Launcher.

Using the CurseForge App (Recommended & Easiest):

Download and install the official CurseForge App.
Open the app, select Minecraft, and click on Browse Modpacks.
Search for Perfected Optimization and click Install.
(Alternative for manual downloads): Click Create Custom Profile in the top right, click the import link right below the title, and select the downloaded .zip file.
Once installed, click Play!

Using Prism Launcher:

Download and install Prism Launcher.
Click Add Instance in the top left.
Select CurseForge from the side menu.
Search for Perfected Optimization to download it directly, OR select Import at the bottom of the side menu to browse for the .zip file you manually downloaded.
Click OK, let it download the necessary files, double-click the profile, and enjoy the frames! ```
