MAJOR Changes/Fixes
-Major Changes to the guide book for the introduction to the modpack along with new small additions such as riot shields and elevator blocks now being mentioned as tasks.
-9 new overworld structures, Ruined fish boat, Small Zombie Lab, Two ruined FEMA evac sites, Restaurant ruin, Waffle House ruin, Large Bandit Fort, Church ruin and a Farm Ruin.
-You no longer need OptiFine for Zombie Skin variants! Thanks to “Random Entity Textures”
|Merged “TZP” & “Zombie Revamped” resource pack for HD zombie textures
|The zombie with guns texture have been changed to look modern rather then WW2 look to fit the lore
|The Husk Zombie is no longer disabled as it now has human zombie skin variants
|The zombie/husk spawn weight has been increased by a ton, however once your reach phase 4 the spawn weight returns to normal to make it clear Parasites are taking over
-A intro has been added, upon creating a world for the first time a text will appear to set the tone.
-Added Xaero World Map, Press Shift + Z to bring it up
-Tree Leaves now change with the season
-Updated Weather2 Remastered, the visuals and weather are better now! (fog is temporarily missing and skybox temporarily looks a bit off)
-END EXPANSION
|Basic Parasites now spawn in the End to make exploring a small challenge.
|Biotite now naturally generates in the End, which some recipes require.
|5 new End Structures
|The mod “BetterEndForge Backport” to make the end dimension alien-like, to fit the theme. The nether almost looks like hell, so the End then should seem completely alien. A literal different dimension.
|The Resource Pack “Fancy End | End Aesthetic Overhaul” to make end blocks fit the strange look.
-Adjusted bleeding to be more fair, you should no longer die so quick so easily when wearing OP armor due to just bleeding when being swarmed.
-Anti-Skybase mechanic has been added. If you go too high, you will be warned only 3 times that parasites can be more dangerous when living in the sky. If you decide to live in the sky anyways (being top of a mountain isn't an issue) then every parasite hoard will be dangerous flying parasites designed to bombard your home. Being so high in the sky to the point mobs are unable to load causes progress to slow as world progress is tied to mobs being killed by parasites, so this mechanic should hopefully prevent players living so high up in the sky and ruining the pacing.
-4 more Lore Books have been added, making a total of 6 Books. Find them and piece together the lore!
1 in the New Zombie Lab, 2 in the ruined military outpost, 1 in the ruined small airport, 1 in the End Dimension Maze and 1 in the old Cyberware Lab.
-Gauss Rifle is now craftable
-Readded the Mod Greenery to fix lands like forests looking like they have no foliage/plants (Fixed the issue with water structures generating flooded, it was removed originally because of that) Note: Old ocean chunks wont have its Kelp waterlogged
|Also added RLFoliage - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge for even more visual improvement while keeping performance stable still of course.
-Bandits, survivors and 7dtm soldiers no longer despawn inside their structures.
-Added Ender Storage mod, an expensive storage container that lets you teleport liquids across distances (Yes the original recipe isn't removed yet, but its nearly 5am as I upload the update so I will fix the minor bugs next update coming soon)
-Refixed zombies spawning in light, also added a fix to stop zombies spawning in the end dimension
-Adjusted damage done by metal spikes, wooden spikes, knives and razor wire
-Fixed Keybind Issue with Backpacks
-Fixed recipe error with stone dagger
-Nerfed Damage of Kitchen Knife & Military Knife
-Slightly buffed parasites to take a few more bullets to kill
-Added texturing to the crashed airplane and vines to show its age
-Fixed the Bunker Door recipe still crafting the un-animated version
-Making Heavy Cloth now gives 3 Heavy Cloth again instead of just 1
-Removed Hosts spawning in hordes, replaced with infected animals
-Fixed a few more structures spawning inside mountains
-Fixed the large factory still spawning Wither Skeletons still
-Fixed Utility Loot crate sometimes dropping nothing
-Removed Steel Ingots and Obsidian Block conversion recipes
-Other players can now rob your grave, this can be toggled off in tomb config
-Removed Scraplead and removed Diamond Steel from existing
-Wasteland/Burnt biomes no longer produce fog
-Removed Giant Mushrooms spawning in roofed forests,this is modern theme not fantasy
-Fixed Ruin10 (Office Building) spawning with walls of ores or dirt sometimes.
-Balanced Jetpack & Ender Eye recipe
-Fixed M4 Infiltrator recipe requiring a Augur to craft
-Augur is no longer findable and is essentially a removed tool
-Beer is now craftable again (temporarily through crafting table, will later be made craftable via campfire)
-Crafting advanced bandages now give 5 of them
-Fixed a config issue between BlahajASM & Stellarcore by disabling BalahjASM config option of optimizeNBTTagCompoundMapThreshold
-Removed “Letmedespawn” mod, not needed with all our other mods and its throwing a error saying its broken anyways MalformedJsonException in letmedespawn
-Removed certain recipes that no longer made sense and some duplicate recipes
-Removed Placebo Mod, that Lib is no longer needed.
-Downgraded HEI to 4.25.1 so I can see recipe names for script purposes
(yes I am aware of the door bug, but with so many other fixes and changes I am sending this update out first)
-Changed recipe for pearls and Cybernetic Eyes
-Cyberware Scanner now takes 10 mins instead of 20 mins for its operation
-Fixed a multiplayer crash with painting, it was crashing because vanilla 1.12.2 refused to decode a painting packet whose variant string was 1 character longer than the baked-in limit.r
-Added Packet Fixer - Minecraft Mods - CurseForge
-You no longer need to craft both engines to complete the first quest, just 1 of them. I also made sure to mention a Lever is required for the engine to turn on in the description.
-The Grave and Backpack description now mentions that it places separately from your Grave
-Fixed the barbed club requiring a uncraftable club
-Nerfed Armor & Damage of Mangler Parasite
-Fix Bandit Camp Medium having a structure block under a cupboard
