1.7.0 Major Rebalance Update is Out!
A Work In Progress 1.12.2 modpack. Parasitical is not for the casual player! Your speed of progression will be tested from the very beginning of the world whether it be through tech, firepower or defenses... the parasites evolve and once they get going, they evolve fast. Can you survive long enough? If you find that trying to survive on earth isn't working... head to the stars and create a base on the moon. The parasites will not evolve there and you get some breathing room and even a safe place to build... Use your early time wisely.
For those that like lore:
You are dropped into a world not during an apocalypse... not post apocalypse... but before it happens and you will survive through it as it happens. You have insider information that humanity will not survive against the parasites since its spreading too fast and to survive, means fleeing to the moon. There are plenty of active and inactive sites and bases at which to find weapons and armour... Do you try recreating a version of Earth in the Barnarda Galaxy on the purple earth-like world? Or do you attempt to reclaim earth through the fire and the flames of weapons of mass destruction?
Goals for the future?
My vision for this pack is to have a time-restrictive overworld experience, use tech to your advantage to hold off the infection long enough to create a rocket and launch into space. Furthermore, the ability to rebuild and set up operations on other worlds and either offer a combat-free experience on "Barnarda C" which is an atmospheric planet that is breathable. Basically just purple earth. Or a combat-heavy reclamation of earth with many weapons at your disposal!

Known Issues / Optifine:
- Optifine is not in the pack by default, Some versions may crash and you may need an older version.
- Essential is NOT compatible with this modpack
- When leaving earth with a rocket, a visual bug occurs
