Welcome, to the EVOLUTION UPDATE

For those who have done alpha testing, there is not much else new. This is mainly for the Beta players

 

This update takes an overhaul on some word generation aspects, new mobs, new crafting recipes and MUCH more.

I sure hope you don't have thalassophobia, cause you will love this.

 

The world is evolving. Everything from the landmass to the ocean has responded by natural selection to this phenomenon of everything vanishing. The tectonic plates of the world have shifted due to an unknown force. Everything is adapting. Can you?

Note: If you see the Essential Menu (with your player and some other buttons not having any animations) go to the right and click Settings > Appearance > Essential Menu (the first on the list) and click minimal. It still messes with the menu (you can turn it off if you want, but you will have to set keybinds for inviting friends or similar), sadly.

- Gaining Hearts
[Time till acquiring back a lost heart | 3 hr => 2 hr]
- Limited Lives now reduces health to a maximum of 5 hearts. (you can still regain lives and replenish lives when running out)

- Changed recipe for all canteens except netherrite

- To those who get headaches or suffer some sort of nausea whenever you are low, I have turned down the sensitivity, color change, and vibration of the heartbeats. Hopefully it will help
If you want it turned off, you should be able to remove the mod Enhanced Visuals or disable it.

- Spawning chances: Bees had an issue of never being let out of their beehive. Until I find a way to limit beehive spawns, this workaround should suffice to add to the environment

BUG FIXES

- animation.json from the Corpse Stalker mod has now been resolved by replacing the mod with a different variant of the cave dweller
- Zombie having a .5% chance to spawn instead of a 5% (in addition to other mobs)
- Custom villager names were all on the same line instead of separate names
- Disabled invisible entity (000.jar) properly instead of max spawn chance being less than min spawn chance
- Quest book Chapter 4 is now hidden properly
- When placing Traveler's backpack, it no longer is invisible on your back and unable to be clicked
- Quests: Make a Bed quest now accepts all beds
- Quests: Obtain a Log quest now accepts all logs
- Crafting: Leather canteen now accepts all buttons for recipe
- Pandas not being affected by decreased spawn chances
- Quests: Storage quest now accepts all chests

 

KNOWN BUGS

- On the rare occasions, crashes will occur with the issue involving: LegacyRandomSource. I am actively looking for fixes, although it is difficult to replicate as it is based off of chance.

- When joining a friend, getting a error saying something about IIngredient. Joining player should join and leave a singleplayer world to fix the issue. If this doesn't work, have the host do the same thing and rehos

 

OMEGA NOTE

Heyo! It's been a while for those of you who played the beta. For the past few days, I've been working non-stop to develop a decent content update. So now you have some new world gen, entities to be afraid about, a new Fear mechanic, and some new quests! I will say, I haven't went too deep with the quests, but the next content update will likely either involve quests, or have a bump to the quest count. Hope you all enjoy! Stay safe and stay Paranoid!
