Tinkers will let you build upgradable tools to help gather resources, Cut down trees in one go and mine the whole vein of ores with Treecapitator and Veinminer, use the morph mod to change into anything you've killed adapting their ability or just to troll, use buildcrafts many blocks to take your building past just square blocks, Or twist it up a bit with magic and flowers in Botania plus much more
