Modpack for the Swan SMP

Description

The SWAN Modpack

This is a modpack made for the server I run, called the SMP Without A Name, or SWAN for short. The main purpose of this upload is to provide an easy way for the players of said server to get the mods they need to play.

But hey, maybe the mods in this modpack sound fun to you, too! Or maybe you watched one of us streaming on the server, and now you wanna do the same! If that's the case, you should definitely download the modpack too. There's certainly plenty to do that'll keep you occupied between streams.

You'll start by picking your origin and class, as well as choosing if you'll be blessed or cursed. From there, the choices of what to do are endless! With hundreds of new biomes, as well as new and revamped dimensions to explore, there is plenty to do. Not to mention, nothing will stay the same for long as the seasons change, meaning even staying in your own house can give you an interesting view!

But if you do feel like getting out and exploring those new biomes and dimensions, there's plenty to do, including dabbling in magic and witchcraft. Or maybe you'd just like to be a farmer, and roam the world in search of the many new crops. And if you're looking for a bit of danger, there's always the Nether with Bewitchment's brand new, terrifying mobs!

The modpack also features a proximity voice chat mod, which means that you can talk to your friends even without making a whole new Discord server for it and adding to what is probably, like, a hundred of them if you're anything like me and my amount of servers. It also includes many optimizations to prevent too many technical issues.

All-in-all, this is a modpack with plenty to do, and we all hope you give it a try and have fun!

If you're interested in joining the SWAN server, the application to do so can be found here!

Important info:

Any version of the modpack marked as "Beta" has extra clientside mods that improve graphics, ambiance, etc., while any versions marked "Release" will be missing those versions. Beta versions are still just as safe to use and play with as the release versions, this is just to make it easier to differentiate which version is which.
