The Overgrowth is a rich RPG & progression-focused modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge). It blends colony-building, magic, technology, exploration, and survival into a cohesive adventure guided by an FTB Quests progression system.
Build your colony. Use MineColonies to recruit citizens, erect buildings, and grow a thriving settlement across procedurally generated biomes shaped by Terralith. Explore ancient structures from Structory and challenge the twisted realm of the Twilight Forest.
Master your character. Advance through RPG classes — Paladins, Rogues, Wizards, Archers, Druids and more — powered by a deep skill tree and attribute system (Puffish Skills & Attributes, ApothicAttributes). Learn spells with Spell Engine, equip Accessories, Jewelry, Relics, and Runes to become truly powerful.
Conquer the world. Nature fights back with Legendary Survival Overhaul — torches burn out, farmland degrades, mud spreads in the rain. Seasons change with Serene Seasons, wildlife roams with Alex's Mobs and Naturalis, and gateways summon deadly bosses via Gateways to Eternity.
