OREBOUND Modpack 0.1.3

This update focuses on making the beginning of OREBOUND more reliable while dramatically improving storage for the huge quantities of stone produced by mining and excavation.

More Guaranteed Starter Iron

The Origin now provides 10 guaranteed Iron Ore instead of 4.

This guarantees enough Iron to build the equipment needed to begin Resource Seam progression:

• Prospector's Hammer
• Iron Pickaxe
• Mechanical Miner

Players now have everything necessary to locate their first deposit and begin automated Seam extraction without depending on finding additional Iron first.

New Bulk Compression System

OREBOUND now includes its own built-in compressed block system.

Supported materials include:

• Cobblestone
• Stone
• Gravel
• Sand
• Dirt
• Cobbled Deepslate
• Tuff

Each material can be compressed twice:

9 Blocks → 1 Compressed Block

9 Compressed Blocks → 1 Double Compressed Block

Everything can be decompressed again with no loss.

One Double Compressed block contains 81 normal blocks, allowing one stack to hold the equivalent of 5,184 blocks.

Complete Strata Compression

Every major OREBOUND geological layer can now be compressed as well.

Added compression support for:

• Compact Stone
• Dense Stone
• Deepstone
• Ancient Rock
• Abyssal Stone
• Corestone
• Worldstone

This becomes increasingly useful as players reach the deeper areas of the pack and begin collecting massive amounts of excavation material.

Compressed OREBOUND geology keeps the same Mining Power requirement as the original block, so the system does not bypass normal progression.

Quest Improvements

Added optional early quests introducing bulk storage:

Pack It Down

Craft Compressed Cobblestone and learn the basic 9× compression system.

Double Compression

Upgrade into Double Compressed Cobblestone and learn the 81× storage system.

These quests are optional and do not block normal progression.

Field Manual Updates

The OREBOUND Field Manual now explains:

• Basic block compression
• Double compression
• Reversible crafting
• Storage capacity
• OREBOUND strata compression
• Compression through Worldstone

• Much easier management of large mining operations.
