Combat and More
What's new
- Added AcroWield, making combat more complex and interesting. And making crossbows better.
- Changes how trim effects work. No longer are 1 or 2 trims just cosmetic; no longer is 1 or 2 trims useless. Now, even 1 trim on an item grants you some kind of effect!
- Each trim and material has a different effect. Have only one piece of your set with a trim? You’ll still get something! Probably. Any more pieces than that and the effect gets stronger.
- Added Fire Aspect Torches, so torches will ignite enemies for a couple seconds! Can also light candles and campfires with torches.
- Some classes start with trims on some of their armor!
- Druids start with the Wild trim on their Slime leggings and chestpiece, giving them Regeneration when they’re not at full health, and a small variety of things while in sunlight to keep them alive!
- They can also call lightning while out in a storm, so long as they shoot a projectile.
- Rogue has the Silence armor trim with the Resin material, making them turn invisible while sneaking and deal more damage while sneaking! Finally, rogue is rogue-ing.
- The “secret” class has a trim, too. It’s now much better for underwater living!
- Druids start with the Wild trim on their Slime leggings and chestpiece, giving them Regeneration when they’re not at full health, and a small variety of things while in sunlight to keep them alive!
- More compasses:
- Explorer’s Compass for finding those pesky rare structures.
- Netherite Compass, for tracking down hidden scrap. Be careful you don’t accidentally dig into lava without resistance! Very much a late-game item.
- Ender Compass: For teleporting between lodestones!
- Class Changes:
- The Bard now has actual instruments to play, and isn’t just a glorified music disc collector!
- Gave the Cleric a brewing stand, blaze powder, and a couple glistering melon slices as well as a ghast tear- all for brewing healing potions, all within
- Also gave the cleric a golden dandelion so you can keep your ghastling friend small forever! You decide if it's immoral.
- Gave the Witch more ingredients to start off with as well as some witchy decorations, included in a separate bundle!
- 2 more blaze powder, 3 more glowstone dust, to further emphasize that this is the pure potion class, whereas it's more of a secondary thing for the Cleric.
- Also gave it more soul lanterns to start with.
- The Witch now holds the soul lantern in their left hand. More lantern crafting!
- Remember to use the fish to tame your cat, then right-click your new friend with the Etheric Gem so that if/when they die, they’ll be sitting on your chest when you wake up. Then name them with the included name tag and sneak while looking at the cat with the goat horn in hand for a few seconds, and after that, the horn’s name will change and have an enchantment effect. This means you can summon the cat from wherever you want!
- Added a Tutorial “class” that just has a book with information about all the combat changes.
- The classes that start with a pet now begin with a book instructing you how to set up your pets so that they don’t die permanently and can be called from anywhere, any time, so long as your horn is ready to blow.
- Added the More Stick Variants mod and its addon, More Tool Variants.
- Sorry, no wood armor variants yet. I WISH.
- Added the Longevity Enchantment mod, so your items last even longer.
- This mod adds one thing: the Longevity enchantment, which makes the item’s Max Durability 4,000- more than Netherite, so it’s not useless on that. Works on pretty much any item.
- Added the Quenchy Cactus mod. Try brewing cactus into a potion!
- It’ll quench ya! It’s the quenchiest!
- Updated some mods, including Zero Lib, Easy Anvils, Simple Datapacks, and more.
