Oh the Things You'll Survive offers something for every Minecraft player, whatever their way of playing the game is. Though the modpack is mostly focused on adventure, Engineers will love all of the new special blocks and mechanics, while builders will love all of the new decorative, and beautiful blocks. And last but definitely not least, Adventurers will find the most breathtaking structures, new dimensions, epic world generation, massive caverns, new mobs, and more!

Oh the Things You'll Survive aims to provide a modpack that is appealing to everyone, whatever their style is. Oh the Things You'll Survive has only the most optimized & best mods for 1.16, therefore resulting in the best possible modpack there can be, without any random glitches / exploits.

Oh the Things You'll Survive is a fairly game-intensive modpack, so we recommend you install OptiFine with it. We would make it come with the modpack, but as OptiFine isn't listed on CurseForge, it is not allowed. You can download OptiFine at https://www.optifine.net/downloads.

Minimum allocated RAM: 4 GB
Recommended allocated RAM: 5-6 GB normally, or 6-8GB for those with OptiFine, high render distance, increased video settings, HD resource packs, and/or shader packs.

Render distance: We recommend 8-10 render distance for everyone, but those with slightly beefier computers may want to go higher. If your computer can't handle 8, you can change it to 6, however it doesn't look as nice.

Don't know how to change your allocated RAM? Here's a simple guide for the Default Minecraft Launcher: To change it in CurseForge, click the settings cog at the bottom left, click "Minecraft" under "Game Specific" on the left, Then scroll down until you find "Allocated Memory". Change that to whatever you wish.

So far, the plan for Oh the Things You'll Survive will be to do a few things:

1. We plan to keep uploading new mods and configs

2. We plan to port Oh the Things You'll survive to: 1.15.2, 1.12.2, and all 1.16x versions. This is to allow everyone to play, regardless of their preference on MC editions, and because 1.12.2 has more mods than 1.16, allowing us to continue development with even better mods.

3. Finally, we plan on being an active group, constantly fixing any bugs that arise, and adding more exciting mods! Feel free to report any issues in the issues section, or comment some mod ideas you have!
