Description
NTM Deluxe Edition is a modpack centered around HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod (NTM), an in-depth tech progression mod built around guns, bombs, and atomic science. From realistic oil processing chains to calling in a nuclear artillery barrage to defend your factory, the goal of this pack is to balance scientific advancement with the growing need for more powerful weapons.
Beyond NTM, other mods found within the pack are included to provide quality of life features, balancing, and performance improvements (essential libraries are also enclosed to effectively empower the execution of dependent mods!). For example, OpenComputers (and OpenSecurity) has been included to allow the ability to create custom scripts for automation and logic. Another example is Schematica, a clientside mod that allows the user to create blueprints of structures and machines.
The main goal of this pack is to be an entry point into HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod, a one stop shop for new players looking for a modpack experience in singleplayer or multiplayer. I created NTM Deluxe Edition after a friend of mine introduced me to NTM and about how fun it could be to experience in a multiplayer modpack. Unfortunately we weren't able to find any active, up to date packs with easy to use server files. So here we are! My inspiration for this modpack and background is Gregtech New Horizons, my hope is that I can bring some of the GTNH experience to NTM (such as the quest system and quality of life tools).
