It started as a small project to play with my mom. "What can her laptop reasonably handle?"
And then I kind of kept going.
This modpack emphasizes survival gameplay with elements of both tech and magic. Its core elements include Project MMO for an RPG-style leveling experience, Tough as Nails to cover all of your thirst / hunger / hypothermia / hyperthermia needs, and Paraglider to allow you to increase your health and stamina in an immersive way. Also so you can jump off of things and land on other things.
For magic, we have some old favorites like Botania, while Mana and Artifice takes center stage.
For tech, there's Immersive Engineering and Create.
It's something of a kitchen sink project, and includes all the important bits.
Journeymap covers you for mini-mapping, The One Probe tells you what you're looking at. JEI tells you how to make stuff, of course, while Just Enough Resources will tell you where to find it. Minecolonists and MNA constructs allow you to delegate your work onto someone else - if you want.
Oh. And if nothing else, there's always the vampires.
