Nouveau is a modpack designed to let you automate and explore, without letting resources get in the way in an intrusive way. With in-depth quests that will guide you through mods you may not be familiar with, and through the heavily modified world around you. Recipes have been modified to encourage progression in multiple tech and magic modsat the same time, and automation. Major mods include Mekanism, Biomes You Go, Create, Ars Nouveau, and more.

The main mods that affect world gen are Oh, the Biomes You'll Go, Traverse, Quark's Realistic Terrain Gen, and Valhesia Structures. These make for a breathtaking world, plenty of unique places to explore, and interesting spots to build in, above and below ground. Even, maybe, in the Nether and End. Additionally, there are huge deposits of ore, hinted at by rings of flowers on the surface, letting mining not get grindy and letting you focus on automation.
With large ore deposits, mining doesn't get grindy. However, normal ore gen is still in place, and between that, YUNG's Better Caves, and more, spelunking has gotten more interesting.
