That’s what Nothing Optimized is for. It is a lazy approche but serves exactly this usecase, download and play, no endless tweaking, no million tiny mods that only bloat the pack. Instead just a handful of well chosen mods that actually make a difference.
Use it as a drop-in replacement for vanilla if you just want smoother gameplay, or as a template to build on for your own pack.

Other Packs
Im pretty sure this is not the "best" one of all packs (since it is low efford) so I can recommend some other ones which serve also pretty good as performance packs and maybe provide also some quality of life.
