IMPORTANT: CurseForge will not let me include the Alpha Add-On to Golden Days. Please go to the Golden Days project and download the most recent file labelled "Golden Days Alpha" and add that file to the resourcepack folder before you start the modpack for the first time. Click here: Golden Days Alpha (current version is 1.10.0).
All of the Horror modpacks I'm finding are really heavy on additional features and very combat heavy. This modpack is focused on atmosphere, not adding a bunch of new blocks and mechanics.
Combining the Golden Days texturepack, and the MC_VHS shaders, the mod is intended to remind the player of how creepy Minecraft was in it's early years. Also includes my personal Analog Horror Music mod, to get the sound that matches the visuals.
It does also feature several entites including, of course, Herobrine. It also adds Sleep Tight and Sleep in Darkness, to make it harder (but not impossible) to sleep at night.
It gets VERY dark at night. And very dangerous. Find shelter.
Hint: the torch works as a flashlight. It's VERY useful.
