It is already possible to breathe on the surface. Everything was terraformed, I still don't know how they did that, but the landscape I knew has completely changed.
I found records about Fronos and Eden, apparently they are the planets listed as compatible, I believe they are calmer than ours to start over.
The JEI system you unlocked during the last exploration seems to still be standing, so use that to build whatever you need.
The monsters stayed, it's too risky to walk around, and to top it off, bandits are spread out and well armed.
The other day I could have sworn I heard a helicopter, I prefer not to check, if they don't know of my existence, so much the better.
