Welcome to Nightfall

Your first assignment working for the Life Council isn't exactly what you expected. This isn't a tropical beach. Instead the jet black skies of Nightfall have become your world. As it's guardian you must develop a thriving ecology. Unfortunately, the only block in sight is the one your standing on. Will this realm remain a desolate void? Or can it become something amazing?

Start Your Way

You are employed by the Life Council and they support you. Every game week (2.5 hours) you'll receive your paycheck in the form of prosperity shards. These can be used to buy basic items and resources from the shop. It's not enough to live on but the quest book is soul bound to you and can be crafted again from shards if you somehow lose it. There is no case where you have to just restart because you didn't get a sapling or something. Instead you have to choose how to invest your initial resources wisely so you aren't left endlessly waiting for that next paycheck.

This is very friendly for new players or people who just want to experiment. Among the items you can buy in the shop are guide books for all of the included magic or tech mods. There also are some quick start kits. You 100% don't have to start out with a sapling and do the same boring grind every time you start a new world. Your strategy can be different every time and if you screw up just tear it all down and start over. This is a pack for people who want to build cool things, not just a ton of farms before they quit!

But Be Careful

The pack has some harsh mechanics that are designed to reward players who plan carefully and build infrastructure. The guide book is there to walk you through everything. So don't just toss it into the void until you've actually got a grip on the unique world this pack presents. Also, don't freak out when you start with just one heart and one line of inventory slots. You can gain more. You also start out with a shulker box. Never forget that this is a Skyblock. If you encounter an enemy before you are ready something has already gone wrong in a rather dramatic way.

As you Explore

If building farms and staring out into empty space isn't your thing this pack provides seven other dimensions for you to explore and exploit. You can get to some of them very early. Of course you won't be able to stay in any of them for too long without facing consequences but . . . that's part of the fun. It's up to you to figure out how to utilize or ignore the rest of the universe. But it can be done and there are plenty of places to go. So plan your trip wisely and try to have fun!
