Greetings everyone!

The NGOM Pack is a mod pack. NGOM has a focus primarily on technology with some additional mods selected for the establishment of cross-mod synergistic systems in game that will maximize user experience.

Examples of included mods are: "RF Tools" , "Thermal Expansion" , "Refined Storage" , "Create" , "ProjectE" , "Vampirism" , "Ballistix" , ect.

This mod pack was originally made it to have fun with my freinds and grant them easy access. I have since developed a little lore for the pack, inspired from our silly stories throughout our play. If you are interested in that, scroll to the bottom. Otherwise, read only the next two paragraphs.

A cautionary statement, NGOM is unbalanced. Initial use has found that several mods are overpowered and feature potentially game breaking content. Such content is vulnerable to exploitation which is encouraged when implemented with the upmost courtesy, and is subject to standard procedure of the relevant user. Installing modifications will likely alter gameplay experience. Furthermore, mods may contain bugs and are not always optimized for use. In the recognition of such modifications that alters the original functionality of the base program, there is a certain level of risk. Users should be cognizant of said risk before committing to game modification. Feel free to download and enjoy!

The Lore:

After all your efforts, you were granted your request. The order believes you will not betray them, you have gained their trust. Now you have awakened in this new place. Behold, a hydron, you now stand in this strange realm. All its aspects, you do not fully understand yet, but that matters not. It is your garden, waiting for you to cultivate it. Here, you are immortal, and your mind is filled with unfathomable knowledge of many things. The templates for all kinds of wonderous machines reside within your memory banks, implanted after your integration. Other arts of the soul are also at your disposal, etched into your integrated bones. In this realm, are none who come close to your potential. The natives here are as playthings, like ants scurrying about, stagnant in their technology of feudalism and doomed to the limits of their weak flesh. They are unaware. You are not so, you possess great potential and need only to develop it.

In time, you could unleash unspeakable horrors upon this realm, or bring it to greater glory. More so, the path to becoming a realm warden is before you, after all, why should you be content with just one realm? Did not the others do the same? It is what you aspired to in the past, to be as the others who have reached their peak. A multiverse of opportunity, you could be a demon king or a warrior of God. You charge is to remain loyal to the order, they will surely watch over you but they have permitted your autonomy. Should you too abandon your order, you know how to keep it hidden. You also know that only fools take the path of betrayal, you have heard the tales of the withered ones, you know their fate. This is your domain, you may choose to forgo your obligations. But something is wrong with this place, something that is not of your kin.

It would seem like the realm itself resists you, but you know better. The foolish mortal beings of this place, some fight against you, their instincts recognizing you as a threat. The are nothing, even if you die, you will simply return again and again. All hydrons outlast their enemies. But the demons here are active, they whisper, desperate to draw you from your goal. This is not the will of some mysterious force. Someone came before, there are remnants of something. Some of these creatures don't belong, and there are scars in this place that run deeper than what one can see. You do not know this place's history, its wars and struggles. Obviously the people here have entered decline, and regressed from their apex. The once dominant power has decayed. But something else sirs in the shadows, it has shaped this world to its liking and taken up residence. You are certain, there is some powerful entity that has taken root here. You are now a rival, threatening to take its treasured home, certainly this entity will do everything possible to expel you.

There may be ways to make peace, to coexist. If you do not fight back, it will grow lazy in its attempts to banish you. You could seek to negotiate, or perhaps it can be fooled into thinking you are just a native it has mistook for something more. It seems there is still conflict between the inhabitants of this place, this can be an advantage. The creatures see you as a common human. If you seek to live a simple life among the villagers, chances are, you will be left alone. Or you could hunt this being and vanquish it. You are a hydron, your only limits are those you place on yourself. The only constraint is your patience and resolve. If you desire to make this realm your own, there is no being of this world that can stop you. Nothing can kill you, nothing can remove you. You will always come back, and time is on your side. Unless you become bored of this realm, or lack motivation to proceed, eventually you will have your way, it is inevitable. The realm is before you, and limitless opportunities are available should you choose.
