New Game + A lot of small enhancements but still the Minecraft you love!
The intention of this modpack is to tweak, enhance and optimize the Minecraft vanilla experience. You don't need to learn any new mechanics, you can play right out of the box. Doesn't matter if you are a new or old player. Nothing crazy has been added, everything fits into the original playstyle!
Some of the changes to the original game:
-Lot of bugfixes
-Stability and framerate enhancements
-More variation of biomes, mobs and dungeons
-Prettier graphics and sound
Basically more Minecraft with the original vibes!
A few useful tips:
- I highly recommend using the Faithful texture pack and OptiFine
- To use Climatic Biomes (and Biomes O'Plenty), create a new world, go to "More World Options..." and choose "World Type: Climatic"
- Important Keyboard shortcuts:
- "M" for the World Map
- "U" to place waypoints (and delete the death marker)
- "Y" to mark items, so that you are able to find them in your chests quicker
- "Shift" + "right click" pick up small animals and items like chests and furnaces (even if they have content!)
