Collection of mods for a friend's discord server. No specific theming in general. Rather, theming is the least of concerns around these parts.
There's an itch for everyone among us to scratch. This is a modpack that brings together a few mods aiming towards industrialization and factory-building, towards exploration through dimensions and new biomes, towards combat, and towards colonization with Minecolonies' addition of... Colonies.
You take from this modpack what you work towards. If you decide to settle and build a small town, we've got you covered. If you decide to unleash your inner Mumbo Jumbo and invent a new way to just use stairs, we've got you covered. If you decide to rig your house with live wires simultaneously powering your diesel generators polluting the air with sweet, sweet (NOT REALLY) carbon dioxide gases? Covered there, too. Want to invest in the arcane arts of spellcrafting and learn how to bend the world, without having to use a bajillion factories or ruin the ozone layer for eons to come? Covered.
Want to build portals into stranger worlds to chart, to settle, or just to harvest life and plant matters alike, we've got you covered. Each time you wake up you stare dissappointedly at your sword at full durability, we've got you covered. Or what if you just built yourself a boombox and want to do nothing but spam Nightmare Run or some other Friday Night Funkin' song within beating range of your fellow humans? I'm not sure why that specific case has to be brung up but sure, we've got boomboxes. What if you just wanted to be a nomad with nothing but a backpack and some tools and a blanket? Well, you know the drill. Covered like we're Geico.
This shouldn't deter you from playing how you want to play, it should introduce a few new shiny toys for you to play with no matter which way you proceed. Roaming around and exploring, or settling in one place and expanding from there. Investing in technology and conventional firearms, or investing in the darker, more abstract arts. Even a thing or two to just fool around with if you're not really that invested in taking a vibrant block game seriously.
Best hope you and your comrades specialize in enough places that when you march to the ends of your journeys, your militarized magicarized parade doesn't get cut short because someone didn't invest in getting a gun. Or a particularly volatile, particularly combustive yellow parcel known as 'C4'.
