Another tech pack, this time in 1.21.1, with a progression system, hard challenges, and plenty of rewards for your hard work.

Description

You start with half a heart, but you gain more very quickly, with no real upper limit. The first day-night cycle is free of mobs so you're safe to start with, and you will have to survive long enough and advance far enough to secure your position. 

 

What's In Here?

A load of tech mods, from Create to Mekanism to Avaritia, with smooth progression being laid out between each stage. There's also mods with new dimensions, like DivineRPG and Twilight Forest, not to mention mods that add tons of new enemies to fight, like Born In Chaos or L_Ender's Catacalysm. Along with well over 100 quests to complete. 

 

Stages

In the quest book you will find several Chapters, but you can't see them yet, only by completing the main quest of the previous Chapter (the ones with gear icons) will you be able to advance to the next Chapter. 

 

Unique Mechanics

As mentioned before you will start with half a heart, but every unique food item you eat will increase your max HP by 1 heart, with no real upper limit. There are also tons of new foods added to help increase this limit. 

There is a major focus on stages in this pack, with the quest book facilitating these stages. Some crafting recipes are disabled to make this work, but you can get those items via the quest book shops, which will unlock once the relevant quest is completed. 

The first day-night cycle is fully peaceful, after that you will see normal mob spawns, after day 10 they will be stronger with more health and damage. You can see the detailed list of changes in the quest book in Chapter 0. 

I made the pack a little too difficult, so to balance this I made the Mega Torch have an effective radius of 128 blocks...assuming you can craft it.

Feel free to ignore this section

Before starting your world, you can go to the More section, Game Rules, and disable the spawning of Infected Diamond Ore. This is your choice to make if you want to disable the annoying Termites, it doesn't replace normal diamond ore, but I am recommending its removal. 

I designed this pack to be played in hardcore, and I also designed the stages to be day-gated. The list is formatted as; (chapter: what day you can start working on the chapter), here is the list: 

Chapter 1: Day 10

Chapter 2: Day 50

Chapter 3: Day 100

Chapter 4: Day 150

Chapter 5: Day 500 (alt 250)

Chapter 6: Day 750 (alt 350)

Chapter 7: Day 1000 (alt 500)

Once again, feel free to ignore all of this, or make up your own values. Feel free to add more mods or remove some, and have fun playing.
