Applied Energistics 2 (Big Addition)

  • AE2 fully added with all recipes integrated into the pack
  • All Refined Storage recipes removed — conversion recipes provided (e.g. 1:1 Controller), plus a Pattern Converter block
  • Refined Storage will remain in the pack for 2 more months before full removal
  • AE2 unlocks even more powerful automation — Mechanical Crafters Interface, Schematicannon Interface, Source Storage Interface, and more
  • Big shoutout to rhynxotic for implementing basically all of AE2 🎉

↻ Updates

  • EMI replaced with JEI — JEI is superior in mod compatibility, removes the need for addons, and eliminated a lot of bugs. Personal preference aside, it was the right call
  • Farmer's Delight major QoL overhaul — faster Cutting Board, reworked Nourishment healing, improved crop/recipe flexibility and mod compatibility, plus minor content additions and fixes
  • Item numbers now use Create font
  • Starlight dimension received a small worldgen change
  • Ancient Factory and Frosted Prison moved to the Starlight Dimension
  • Lots of small patches and mod updates

  • Fixed Music Discs
  • Fixed Gargoyle spawning
  • Updated Neruina (entity crash handler)

  • Create components no longer render when off-screen — Create-heavy bases should lag significantly less as long as machinery is behind walls
  • Performance improvements for Fresh Animations
  • Removed entities from Minimap (can be re-enabled in minimap config)
  • Removed Rhenium — increased FPS but slowed world generation too much
  • Added Generator Accelerator to speed up world generation
  • Added C2ME — one more, last chance
  • Added Structure Layout Optimizer
  • Added Graalmc
