Description
Getting bored of vanilla Minecraft? Play Mococoa!
Compiled by Wlxtee, Mococoa not only enhances the vanilla aspects of Minecraft; it expands beyond it! Ranging from a visual overhaul, remastered world generation, or even reworked combat, this modpack is guaranteed to satisfy if you're looking to experience Minecraft in a new yet familiar way.
In this modpack, you will get an exciting experience of monsters becoming stronger by equipping better weapons, and having better stats. Special items called shards can be used to craft Heart Crystals, which you can use to increase your max health above 10 hearts! Combat has been greatly improved thanks to additional melee weapons as well as unique bows and arrows. The generation of the whole world will change as the Overworld, Nether, and the End will have totally new biomes and structures built for them!
And there's so much more (backpacks, quivers, QoL, etc.)! Are you interested in Mococoa? You can start playing now by downloading the modpack through the CurseForge app! 🍫🧡
Important Notes
- I, Wlxtee, did not make any of the mods, resource packs, and shaders within this modpack, and basically my only real contribution to this modpack's creation is putting everything together, the config files, default options, and giving the modpack a fancy name. Fun fact, the name Mococoa is actually a The Truman Show reference!
- The primary reason for me uploading this modpack to CurseForge and Modrinth was to make sharing my personal modpack with friends and family significantly easier, as well allowing them to update the modpack a lot more seamlessly. I don't ever plan on Mococoa being an "official" or big modpack project in the long run. Sorry!

Mococoa: Revisualized (1.3), the third major update of Mococoa, has released, introducing major visual overhauls and changes, fresh particles and animations, new game mechanics (e.g., overhauled burn system, desire paths), and crafting recipe/armor hotfixes. Below is the changelog for Revisualized’s first release, version 1.3:

- Added smooth and immersive block/entity animations and visual polish across many interactables, including doors, trapdoors, fence gates, levers, buttons, repeaters, cauldrons, composters, lecterns, campfires, chiseled bookshelves, jukeboxes, bells, end portal frames, vaults, and chests.
- Overhauled fire mechanics to make them more realistic and destructive.
