Changelog v1.2.0

After a very long break, I finally decided to rework this modpack from the ground up. The old versions had way too many overlapping mods, a lot of weird balancing, and overall just weren't configured as well as I wanted them to be. There's honestly too much to list, but here's the general idea:

  • Removed a bunch of unnecessary and redundant mods.
  • Removed several mods that just weren't worth keeping anymore.
  • Added a lot of new and important mods.
  • Overall better optimization and cleanup.
  • Shaders are now supported by default and should be much more compatible.
  • Rebalanced many parts of the modpack to make the experience feel more enjoyable. It's still not perfect, but I tried my best :3.
  • Added The Twilight Forest.
  • Added progressive difficulty,

What's next?

I'm definitely planning to keep improving the modpack over time. I still want to optimize it even more, completely rework the progression, improve the balancing, and, if everything goes as planned, maybe even add a proper story/progression system. It'll take a while, but I already have a pretty solid idea of where I want to take it :3.

About the server

Right now the modpack is mainly built around my SMP server, so future updates will mostly focus on that experience. You're more than welcome to join if you'd like! Just keep in mind that we mainly speak Spanish, although everyone is welcome, and you're free to invite your friends too :D.

Updating from older versions

If you're somehow coming from one of the older releases (which honestly surprises me a lot 😭), first of all, thank you so much for playing this modpack. I genuinely didn't expect anyone outside of my friend group to use it, and I really appreciate it <3.

I'm not entirely sure how this update will affect existing worlds since so much has changed, so I'd highly recommend making a backup before updating, just in case!

One last thing

I archived all previous versions of the modpack since, looking back, they really weren't made very well. I'd rather keep the downloads page clean and only keep versions that I'm actually happy with :b
