Welcome To Neon

 

Minecraft Neon is a project that has been long in the making, through way too many tries and versions it grew into an amazing modpack for mostly everyone. Don't get too excited, this is still a beta version and many things are currently being added but I needed to properly publish it in order to start server testing the scripts and dungeons.

Features Currently Implemented:

 

 

Fancy Multiplayer Capabilities:

           With Oxygen mods server owners can easily setup stores, player trades and a better looking teleportation system (needs to be set on a per-world basis)

     

 

Class and Leveling System:

           Using Astral Sorcery skill tree with a bit of a twist, you're not class locked in any way, classes will be mostly for combat and utility. You WILL need these to clear high tier dungeons. AS is a pretty powerful mod when in combination with a few of the mods we currently have present, as such it has been balanced to better fit the pack, you won't be able to just pumcake farm your way into botania or even easily attune anything.

 

 

Decoration:

          I know most of us like pretty things, so I added a few amazing decoration mods with infinite possibilities, trust me you WILL have enough deco if you put some effort into it.

 

 

Custom Bosses and Mobs:
         It's not fun to become an overpowered DE beast that can kill pretty much anything and be virtually immortal. Dungeons and worlds will have progressive difficulty (and rewards), you might be overpowered for a low level dungeon or dimension, but there will always be a challenge for you.

 

 

Technology:  

         Technology should not be set apart from survival and progression but rather be integrated into it. You might have a slow start, slower than your usual modpack at least, you'll be forced to delve into lesser known mods or some intricated multiblock building, but you'll progressively come to your powerful near instant machines. Tech weapons and armor are equivalent to magic weapons and armor, they might have a little more/less damage in exchange for more/less utility, but, overrall, its the same thing.

 

 

Magic:

         Some times thaumaturgy is alot more interesting than logic, you'll progress through the secrets of nature and the universe, gradually scalling your magic power to fit all your needs, it'll be a slow progression based on alot of your effort but it'll be worth it. Magic weapons and armor are equivalent to tech weapons and armor, they might have a little more/less damage in exchange for more/less utility, but, overrall, its the same thing.

 

Automation and Control:

         I'm a developer, not just modpack dev, so I do understand the pleasures of automating stuff. But sometimes just automating isn't enough, you gotta make an oversized touch screen led blinking light with custom sounds for every feature and a voice activated redstone signal to control your chicken farm. I get it, I really do.

 

The goal of this modpack is to implement a clear sense of progression for everyone. Never played minecraft? Play this pack, it'll teach you through it. Minecraft Pro? Think again.

*This pack implements custom dungeons with custom bosses and rewards, think more in the lines of WoW, Grand Fantasia or those other big mmo's dungeons. I'm also making a huge effort to make sure mod progression is well gated and you'll be forced to play with lesser known mods before just bashing into your usual stuff.*

Features In Development:

 

Amazing dungeons with forced adventure mode and unique themes. (3 out of  AT LEAST 16 done)

Zodiac Bosses (2 out of AT LEAST 12)
Custom soundtrack (It already has a few songs, they're not all properlly configured yet, since I'm having to reuse songs to replace the ones not available yet, its still an amazing soundtrack, seriously go show the artists some love.)
Balancing and integrating recipes (I'm really not good at this but it's going)

Planned Features:

Procedural generation of dungeons (Just alot of coding, don't have time for this right now)
Unique bosses for every dungeon and mod:

             - Mecha Boss

             - Actual Alfheim Boss
             - Black Hole
