You've been scrolling YouTube and not finding anything good enough to watch while eating. Before finding it. A very simple video, without a custom eye-catching thumbnail, simply entitled "Creating a new world in Minecraft Beta.".
It's a very simple video from a small content creator but you're interested. You click on it.
First thing you notice is the absence of sound. There's just the Vanilla Minecraft soundboard. No one is speaking. Pretty strange.
The video starts with the player creating his brand new survival world. You can see at the top left he's on Beta 1.0.0, a very old version. Nostalgic video.
The video lasts around 40 minutes. You don't have anything to do, it's not captivating, but you stay watching. 10 minutes in you see the firt signs of oddities. Are you tweaking or was there something behind that tree? Soon enough, the player stumbles upon a random redstone torch. He doesn't react and picks it up. The more the video goes on, the less comfortable you feel. And you're sure now. Something is in this player's world. Watching. Observing. Learning. And you're the only one seeing it.
That's not the weirdest part. The world he played on is in the description. You download the zip, launch the game, and start recording too.
And if the recording ends... let's hope it's because you stopped it.
