This can be a somewhat demanding modpack and I understand people with older machines cannot run it at much fps and with many lagspikes. I would reccommend at least having 16 gb of RAM and increasing it in curseforge. I have set the RAM allocation to 6 gb for those who only have 8. There are more shader options that give better fps now.
