Description
Mage Manhunt is a battle royale style PvP mode with a twist, Iron's Spells n' Spellbooks has been added to make PvP more exciting and give players a new way to fight. Loot new structures, and craft your gear as a border slowly closes in, forcing a final battle.
Starting A Match
To start a match, host a singleplayer world with cheats on easy difficulty, use the world preview tab to ensure 0, 0 is not an ocean biome. Invite players through the Essential mod. Once everyone is in you can use /function to find the starting commands.
Gamemodes
- Standard30 - Border takes 30 minutes to close, run away from spawn to loot up.
- Standard60 - Border takes 60 minutes to close, run away from spawn to loot up.
- Blitz15 - Border takes 15 minutes to close, players are randomly teleported throughout the world and given armour, iron tools, 24 steak, water, an inscription table, and a scroll forge.
- Practice Arena - 150 block border, choose your spells and fight each other as many times over as you'd like.
Balancing Spells & Structures
All of the spells can be balanced in the config folder and enabled/disabled to your liking. The default settings remove some spells useless to PvP and remove some anti-fun spells that make the game unfair. The structure spread settings can also be adjusted in game using the mod menu and looking up 'Structurify'.
Recipies
It is highly recommended to use JEI (on the right side of your inventory) to view crafting recipies for the modded items. Typing in "@irons" into the search bar will show everything from the mod. You can also check the recipie book for all the modded gear.
