Player Locator (multiplayer)

  • A new strip above the XP bar points at the other players around you: a coloured marker per player, fading with distance, with a small up/down arrow when someone is well above or below you.
  • Hold the player list key (Tab) to turn the markers into player heads and show their names.
  • Shows nothing when you're playing alone.

Quality of life

  • New-player guide: a Lucky Book is now added to your inventory the first time you join. It is a short illustrated guide to the essentials (your goal, lucky blocks, invasions, opening blocks safely, infusing and merging, lucky tools).
  • Added Xaero's Minimap and World Map (with Waystones support), pre-configured to match the pack.
  • Added Comforts: sleeping bags and hammocks.
  • Added Distraction Free Recipes: a cleaner, less cluttered recipe screen.
  • Lucky Stats: the Day line now also shows the time (Day 1, 15:30), in the HUD and the stats screen.
  • Lucky Tools: clearer tooltips on the Lucky Hammer, Totem and Shield.
  • Death screen (hardcore): a new "Delete & Restart" button instantly deletes your world and starts a fresh one (new seed), without going back to the main menu.
  • Removed Noisium (it was archived on CurseForge).

Lucky blocks

  • Pink Lucky Block: the (fake) "Hero's Potion" is no longer counted as a legendary drop.
  • Chaos and Yummy lucky blocks can now spawn Artifacts mimics — one on a lucky roll, three on a great one. Kill them for an artifact.
  • Chaos Lucky Block: its legendary weapons and armour are now noticeably easier to roll at the top tier.
  • Chaos Lucky Block: fixed the legendary gear names that displayed garbled characters — they now read correctly (e.g. "Chaos Leggings").

Fixes

  • Kitty Slippers (Artifacts) keep creepers away again. Enhanced AI was making creepers swell, and even launch themselves at you, despite the slippers; now a creeper near a slippers wearer simply flees, while keeping its full Enhanced AI behaviour against anyone not wearing them.
  • FTB Ultimine no longer touches lucky blocks. Vein-mining them could scramble their luck and be abused to duplicate blocks; Ultimine now skips them. Breaking lucky blocks one at a time is unchanged, and Ultimine still works normally on stone, ores and the like.
