Litecore aims to provide a hardcore experience in Minecraft without all the bloat. Many existing hardcore modpacks increase the difficulty by requiring copious amounts of grinding to get the resources needed. Litecore doesn't change much of the existing vanilla gameplay, but instead ramps up the difficulty with mods like The Spice of Life, Tough as Nails and Rough Mobs.
Struggling? Here are a few tips to get you started:
- Leather will be tough to find. You can turn cooked meats into leather on Tinkers' Drying Rack.
- Blinded by the darkness? I highly recommend installing Optifine and taking advantage of the dynamic lighting settings.
- Taking a relaxing bath in some Hot Springs Water can regen your health without the need of any bandages.
- If you don't fancy having chests everywhere, Iron Chests are a good place to start. After that, look into Storage Crates or an Indexer to get everything squeezed in a bit tighter.
