Welcome to Haven!
This modpack is my best attempt at turning minecraft into my dream game, with elements from titles such as Zelda, Terraria and plenty more.
I attempted to combat as many aspects of the game as possible, twisting them with a huge variety of mods from many talented developers.
I really wanted there to be something for everybody, as such the main aspects this pack covers is;
BUILDING
Building is made incredibly easy with the amazing Clutter No More mod! No more annoying inventory management when building, just get your material and shape it however you want.
A Plethora of decorative block and furniture are included allowing for a wide range of decoration.
On top of all this, many recipes have been changed for easier access to blocks like copper.
COMBAT
Despite most players, I personally really enjoy Better Combat, for that reason it is included here. On top of that there are a range of weapons, armors and accessories to diversify your builds.
Swords and shields both have the ability to block and Parry, and the player can even perform a dodge roll.
MOVEMENT
Movement has been slightly overhauled with the addition of wall jumping! Not only can you now jump over fences and walls naturally, you can crouch whilst against a wall to cling to it, upon letting go you will be thrust upward. This allowes you to reach new heights!
EXPLORATION
Now personally, exploration isnt very important to me. For this reason this pack isnt insanely exploration heavy at the moment, as I was more aiming for a sort of laid back base building/survival/boss experience. NEVERTHELESS a plethora of amazing terrain generation and structure mods have been added which drastically improve upon vanilla. (sorry for those who like excessive amounts of biomes its just not my vibe)
As for transportation, horses can now be ridden without a saddle.
Minecarts have had their speed increased drastically.
Waystones are included for easy fast travel to and from points youve discovered. (May be removed in future)
