This beta aimed to add more mobs to the world as well as adjust biome generation rates in order achieve a diverse and engaging environment. The overarching goal was to allow each biome to provide a certain kind of experience with some providing a more magical take on the game putting mobs in places where they serve to alter game play options.

 

-Added and fully integrated Alex's mobs as well as spawning parameters for that mod into the modpack

-Increased ocean biodiversity as well as added more variety to ocean hostile mobs

-Biome generation rates adjusted

-Nyctophobia biomes altered to be more common and have a more diverse mob pull

-More Hostile mobs introduced

 

1.2.3 will see further integration of mobs from other mods (Alex's mobs being the only one fully integrated) so they spawn in unique biomes. It may also see more biome generation rates adjusted as well as the introduction of more hostile mobs/hostile mob spawn rate adjustments. In 1.2.3 or 1.2.4 more dimensions may be added with complete integration of mobs as well.
