Description
This is a collection of mods that you can play if you wish to have an extremely inconvenient playthrough of Minecraft. It consists of mods (some visual, some game-altering). Good luck!
This mod pack includes a great variety of mods including a few which have been "borrowed" from the well-known "RLCraft" mod pack.
The mods included in this mod pack are: (The In-bracket descriptions are the official descriptions for the respective mod, N/A means the original description either doesn't exist or is too long)
- Advanced Hook Launchers (This mod adds different hooks with launchers which give you the ability to climb, abseil, jump off the cliffs, pull entities or players, and even slay the dragons!)
- Biomes o' Plenty (Biomes O' Plenty is an expansive biome mod for Minecraft that adds a slew of new, unique biomes to the Overworld and Nether! To go along with the new biomes, it adds new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more!)
- Buildcraft (N/A, The mod includes automation of mining and namely pipe systems for automatic storing and sorting of items.)
- Deadly World (This mod adds a few world generation features that make living more difficult! These features include mines, silverfish veins, lava pockets, and things that shoot arrows everywhere, all using blocks and features included in vanilla Minecraft!)
- Dynamic Trees (The goal of the mod is: To create more dynamic, aesthetic, fun and natural-looking trees while respecting the Minecraft graphic stylization and enforcing a narrow project scope that keeps things simple.)
- Hardcore Darkness (You have probably noticed it yourself but it's never actually pitch black in Minecraft. Even if you are in a cave with no torches you will still be able to see something independent of your gamma setting. This mod changes this, it removes the minimum block & skylight so if there is no light source it's actually dark.)
- Hunger Overhaul (The purpose of this mod is to tweak the hunger mechanics to my liking. My aim here is to make hunger more of a challenge, rather than just a mild annoyance. To compensate I have added a few features that make certain aspects easier.)
- Ice and Fire: Dragons (Ice and Fire is a mod created by both Raptorfarian and Alexthe666, which hopes to add dragons in a proper way. Currently, Dragons have two types: Ice and Fire. Fire Dragons breathe fire and roam most of the habitable world, whilst Ice Dragons inhabit the coldest places known to man and freeze their prey to death. Both kinds of dragons spawn naturally as adults. And news has reached us of a new discovery: Lightning dragons, powerful nocturnal creatures that deal blasting bolts of lighting to kill their prey.)
- Infernal Mod (Infernal Mod adds new armor and tools with an infernal(nether) theme for your Minecraft game.)
- Lycanites Mobs (This mod adds over 100 new mobs to specific biomes, dimensions and more. These mobs range from peaceful Makas, farmable mammal-like reptiles with massive sails (watch out for the alphas) to horrific Grues that are made of the very shadows themselves! Expect to see angry elementals such as Cinders spawning from large fires or Spriggans from tall grass and crops!)
- Mo' Bends (If you think that Minecraft characters could be more realistic, instead of having steady and rigid animations, this mod is just for you! It makes creatures seem alive, and adds a variety of other epic features!)
- Mo' Creatures (Mo' Creatures is a mod created by DrZhark. It was created on November 17, 2010. A mod which adds over 40 new mobs to your game, it provides many new animal and monster mobs, as well as the ability to tame and ride some.)
- No Recipe Book (No Recipe Book removes the Recipe Book icon from the player inventory and the crafting GUI, as well as from other GUIs that have it. This is a Client-Side mod. It does not have to be installed on the Server. If it is installed on the server, it will do nothing.)
- No Tree Punching (This is a Minecraft mod meant to add a little more believability to your first few minutes of play. It was initially inspired by features from TerraFirmaCraft, but has since been refocused around the titular idea: Blocks don't drop anything if broken without the correct tool.)
- Realistic Torches (Realistic Torches is a lightweight mod that makes early gameplay more difficult by causing torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time. This encourages players to move toward more permanent light sources early on.)
- Roguelike Dungeons (Roguelike Dungeons is a mod that generates large underground dungeon structures which have a procedurally generated layout and loot.)
- Scape and Run: Parasites (This mod adds hostile parasite-themed mobs to your Minecraft game for you to fight, they can be dangerous, scary and some of them can learn from their fights to evolve. They have no biome specific spawn, so you can find them anywhere. The parasites don't burn in daylight and they can attack other hostile mobs (optional).)
- SCP: Lockdown (SCP: Lockdown is an update and remake of the original SCPCraft mod created by Yu_tu. Now reborn in 1.12, Lockdown contains updates to the blocks, items and entities of its predecessor, and goes further to grant the SCPs their true abilities. But beyond even that, new objects have been located...)
- Serene Seasons (Serene Seasons is a Minecraft mod that adds seasons. Grass and foliage colors will change throughout the year, and in the winter, temperatures will shift and allow for snow to fall in some biomes that don't normally receive any. Seasons also affect various other features, like crop growth (Different crops are limited to different seasons), weather (More rain in Spring, more storms in Summer, etc.), and more!)
- Special Mobs (This mod introduces variants to your default Minecraft mods, such as creepers with fiery explosions, skeletons that shoot poisoned arrows, and zombies that leap at you. Not only that, but it allows you adjust all vanilla spawn rates and even make jockeys more common!)
- Weather, Storms and Tornadoes (N/A, Introduces a weather system into the game which includes storms and a revamped weather system as well as machines to detect said storms.
- Zombie Awareness (N/A, Tweaks the behaviour and AI of zombies to make them more intelligent as well as adding other features into their AI. The mod also introduces more ways for the zombies to be able to track you.)
Along with the cores, libraries and utility mods required to run these mods:
- AlcatrazCore
- AppleCore
- CoroUtil
- Custom Mob Spawner
- ForgeEndertech
- LLibrary
Overall, you can see that gameplay in this mod will vary quite a bit from vanilla and will require the player to be more strategic when progressing in the game. Base locations matter more than ever, and so does progress so you can fight the deadly creatures that inhabit this mod pack. Along with this, changes have been made to the farming/food system requiring more effort to be put into establishing a permanent food supply.
