Notice: unbind the "zoom" feature from your keybinds menu (it's bound to the C key), it somehow readded itself and I don't want to do another update today just to unbind the zoom. The C key is now used for sliding and crawling, but C is also bound to zoom, so unbind zoom to fix it.

- Slightly increased the spawn rate of zombies for the first 1/4th of the night, it was starting a little slow.
- Had to force notifications to come down on the right side of the screen again to fix a crash with toast control mod
- Main menu now adaptively resizes for people with resolutions smaller than 1920x1080
- Removed the screen blur that happened with explosions, especially when rocket jumping
- Made the max speed mobs gain over time lower, so they’re not so fast on older worlds and servers that run 24/7\
- In arcade mode in the nether, wraiths now spawn in fewer numbers (it was too high before)
- Removed Sons of Sins mod, the bosses spawned from the Adam's apple can destroy graves and claimed chunks
- NRG AR fire rate was reduced to help with server performance, damage was increased accordingly. Should be roughly as powerful, but doesn’t go through bullets as quickly.
- Starting Gun damage increased by 25%
- Fixed the dimensional lift around 0 ~ 0 that throws you up into different dimensions in the overworld, inner earth and nullspace, it was previously giving everyone levitation, now it only gives the person who hits those coordinates the levitation.
- Added a warp to home feature to the quest book. You need to type “/sethome” to set your home location. You can only set your home once! So make sure it’s where you want it to take you when you spend the 5 xp coins to warp you there.
- You now get a red dot sight for killing 100 zombies in the kill quests chapter. Added several other gun attachments as rewards.

- - Hold ctrl and jump near a wall to wall run.
- - Jump anear a wall and jump again(while not holding ctrl) to wall bounce.
- - while running hold c to slide, or hold c to crawl (Essentials mod may try to add the optifine ZOOM feature to the C key, you may have to unbind zoom on the c key in the controls menu)
- - While running tap crouch (left shift) to leap
- - Hold crouch (left shift) before you hit the ground when falling a long distance to break your fall and do less damage
- - Press A + D (left and right movement keys) at the same time to do a front flip, hold back and press those keys to do a backflip

- Trinkets are permanent buffs you unlock as you do activities in your world such as mining, killing mobs, harvesting, and chopping wood. You start with 1 trinket slot unlocked. Press Shift+z to access the Lost Trinkets interface. You can unlock more slots by spending experience points. You can apply and remove any trinkets you’ve unlocked at any time. You must have the trinket applied to have its effects.
- Added Not Enough Crashes mod, instead of crashing the entire game when you experience a bug, it will crash to the main menu so you don’t have to restart your game. Please submit any crash logs to the “report-bug” channel of the Discord server.
- Fixed kill quests not working correctly. You now get credit for each kill for all kill quests for that mob quest line, instead of each kill quest only beginning when you’d finished the previous
- Fixed death leaderboard not working on dedicated servers, also fixed the death leaderboard button in the pause menu
- Structures can now spawn closer together. This should spawn more structures as you explore
- Removed turrets for the time being, as they seem to be causing lag
- Added lost cities mod. If you decide to add lost cities to world generation, I recommend making them rare, as they’re super common with default settings. The lost cities dimension was added to the dimension stack as well.
- Champions mod was added. Now mobs will randomly be chosen as champions and powered up with different abilities. You thought the modpack was hard enough as it was, well, get ready.
- Added mega torches to stop mob spawning in a much larger radius than normal torches
- Added goblin traders, they can supply you with several high powered firearms.
- Added the waystone recipe back into the game
- Turned ftbchunks map forced chunk loading to 0 chunks, you can adjust this in the defaultconfigs folder to be more than 0 if you want players to be able to force chunk loading on your server.
- Changed chest drop chances for each rarity of gun:
- - Rare: previously 1/300 now 1/150
- - Super Rare: Previously 1/500 now 1/250
- - Exotic: Previously 1/900 now 1/500
- Foundry structure will now start spawning 3,000 blocks from spawn, and will be rarer.

- Raised gun headshot multiplier from 1.5x to 2.0x
- Adjusted how quickly difficulty scaled, there’s now no difficulty scale for the first 10 days, and it now goes up slower than in the last update.

It’s highly recommended that if you’re playing on a world you started in a previous version, that you delete the folder named ‘serverconfig’ inside of your world folder. You only need to do this once! Do it after you’ve updated the modpack. The modpack will auto replace the folder and all of the files with updated files. Located in: \saves\YOUR WORLD NAME\serverconfig
GUN CHANGES
- bigger guns now make you move slower, smaller guns make you move faster. Bigger guns with a higher rarity don't make you move as slow. Smaller guns at higher rarity make you move faster than lower rarity variants of the same gun.
- All guns now have 3 levels! Rare, Super Rare, and Exotic. The rarer the gun, the more powerful it is. These stat changes affect bullet spread, fire rate, kickback and recoil, max ammo, and ads recoil.
- New barrel attachments: muzzle brake, and laser sight have been added. They have the exact same effect on guns, which is to reduce recoil.
- New AR added! The NRG AR with 3 rarities. They glow in the dark(if using shaders) and look pretty. The Exotic variant is over 2x more powerful than the current AR and will decimate mobs, especially when paired with a muzzle brake or laser sight.
- Gun coloring quest menu removed. Guns are now colored according to their rarity with the exception of the starting gun(normal AR). If you’ve previously colored your guns, they’ll stay colored but new guns you pick up will be colored by how rare it is.
- The grenade is now a cat with dynamite, renamed grenade to kitty bomb
- Renamed grenade launcher to Kitty Launcher, added cat model to it.
- Buffed Kitty Launcher damage so it actually kills things now
- Adjusted view model for several guns, fixed attachments not being where they were supposed to be
- Added Medium Ammo type (minigun and the new AR will use Medium Ammo)
- Removed colored attachments from fishing and loot(uncolored can still be found while fishing). Attachments will now take on the color of the gun, and guns are colored by rarity
- Added Muzzle Brake and laser sight to fishing and chest loot pools.
- Gun models besides the new AR will start to receive updated models over the next few updates as I work to remodel each gun for the new rarity system
- Your starting gun is now randomly colored. The starting AR is the only gun where color doesn’t indicate its power. Purchasing a new Starting Gun will also be randomly colored. The starting AR does not have levels, like every other gun has.
- Gun enchantments have been nerfed, they were way too overpowered before.

- Guns now appear on your back when they’re in your offhand
ADDED / NEW
- You'll now automatically enter third-person view when flying with an Elytra, and mounting a llama, horse, donkey or riding in a boat.
- The beginning of your game has changed. You now start by choosing a player model, which can be a fully customized villager model, your own skin, it your skin with the ability to customize the size and shape of your player model. This can all be changed by clicking the player model button in the pause menu.
- There’s now a tutorial chapter in your black market. This will help noobs to quickly get acquainted with the mechanics.
- Added proximity voice chat. If you’re playing with a friend who is not on your LAN, the player hosting the world needs to open/forward port “25565 UDP”. You may have already previously opened/forwarded port 25565 TCP to play with others online, you need to now open 25565 UDP for voice chat to work. Push to talk key is caps lock.
- Added dummy so you can test damage with all of the new rarities of guns
- Added Essentials mod! Now you can invite your friend to play, just by adding them by their minecraft username! Nice!
- Obsidian now has a chance to drop ammo
- You’ll now receive one of four random backpack styles when starting a new game, assigned with the color of your starting gun.
- Gravel now has a chance to drop missiles and kitty bombs
- Added armor compare mod - shows what you’re currently wearing alongside the stats of the armor your mouse is hovered over
- Added the Twilight Forest after you get to the end! There's a new chapter that will guide you through the Twilight forest. Careful, these bosses don't take bullet or explosion damage, so make sure you're keeping all those swords and bows you find during your playthrough for the bosses in this new dimension!
- You can now change your skin in the player editor in game! Your genetics will be used in the children you have with villagers.
CHANGED / FIXED
- Lycanites mobs now have greater variability in size, some will be bigger than normal, some smaller.
- You will now always have fall resistance when starting the game and going to a new dimension.
- Wistiver Jaw damage capped at 20 - I saw your video @Radical -_-
- All Lycanites mobs speed increased by 10% on "It's hard" difficulty, and 30% on "I need my mommy!" difficulty.

- The wither and Mother and now much more difficult when playing with friends, as opposed to playing alone. Previously it would average your difficulty level between all players, now it adds each player's difficulty level together for a final number.
- Removed the flint and ring item recipe so you can’t get to 8bit prematurely (it causes issues when you don’t go through dimensions in order)
- Removed being able to light a nether portal, that’s not how you need to go between dimensions. If you already have one, you get to keep it.
- Removed the dumb romance book you would get when starting a new world
- There’s now 1 kind of xp coin that drops, I’ve tried to align its drop rate with the amount of xp you’d get from a night in vanilla
- Flying lycanites mobs are no longer mountable, it’s too op and makes balancing the fight with mother impossible.
- Expanded the dimensional teleporting y value range. If you fell with significant speed through dimensions it might not catch you at the correct y value, causing you to fall into the void. It’s now fixed.
- Removed the enchantment glint from the game, it’s ugly and annoying when you have enchanted guns
- Notifications now come down from the top left of the screen so they don’t cover the map
- Removed coin compress, you can no longer turn experience into coins
- Removed gun mod workbench, guns may only be obtained from chests through exploring
- Fixed lycanites bosses Asmodeus and Amalgalich not being summonable (hopefully)

Major bug fixed: When playing with another player not on a dedicated server, teleporting between dimensions will now take each player to the proper dimension. Previously the destination of the non-host player would be determined by the dimension of the host player. happy happy
- New structures and mobs added to the nether!
- To summon the Wither you must now use withered blackstone blocks, which can be mined from the catacombs structure in the nether (the structure looks like the wither). This block may only be mined with a netherite pickaxe.
- You’ll now auto party with everyone on the server. New players will be auto added to the party. For the Public Jetpack Cat server this will be disabled
- Wither kill quest added, along with an image to show the structure and blocks needed to summon the wither.

- Added Bisect Hosting integration. You can now rent a server directly from the multiplayer menu (it will redirect to the browser once you’ve selected your options). With the premium server option you can have your server auto install Jetpack Cat. Removed Chunk Pregenerator mod, the author has decided to put his mods features behind a paywall.

Changed / Added:
- New items! Artifacts! These wearable items give you all sorts of buffs, and come with decently high durability. They can be found in different chests around your world, and cannot be crafted. Many of these items are pretty OP, but honestly it sounds like you need some OP gear :)
- New item! Gauss Turret! Now you can better defend your base against hostile mobs. It uses Gauss Bullets.
- New item! Base defense just got better with search lights! They shine a light in any direction you point them. Stand in front of a spotlight and right click with an empty hand to change their direction.
- New item! Button lights! A beautifully modern way to light your base without those ugly torches everywhere.
- Loot Cases have been renamed to Loot Boxes, with a new custom texture
- Damage slightly increased for all weapons and tools from Loot Boxes.
- Raised chance of Loot Box weapons getting a buff
- Mimics added, some chests aren’t chests. Imagine dying to a chest :)
- Gravestones have been replaced! Now all of your cosmetic items and your backpack will be restored to their proper slots. After you die you’ll respawn with a grave finder - holding it in your hand when you’re looking for your grave will add a box around your grave that you can see through walls. You don’t need to break your grave to recover your items, simply stand on it and crouch.
- I added a one time gift of some neat TNT to the free section of your quest book! Go blow yourself up :)
- Enabled some mobs that I previously removed from the game. Look for dragons in the overworld!
- Added the power glove artifact to your starting gear
- Changed the sound for Lycanites events, the audio was too loud. Changed every event to use the same custom alarm sound.
- Added cable fences (iron bars retexture) and cable roofs so you can build containment facilities/zoos
- Decreased shotgun spread
Fixed:
- Fixed messed up quest on the main quest menu
- Blood thirst perk removed from weapons (It could 1 shot anything)
- Infinite wood duplication recipe removed
- Increased rabbit spawns in the desert
- The backpack recipe is much easier now, 4 string and 5 sticks. Make a backup to keep at your base for when you die.
- Fixed visibility of vegeta's energy blast on the main menu to be visible on the correct day
- You can now ally with other players, which will allow them to build, break blocks, and access chests on your claimed land, check the team features of the wiki for what commands to use to add an ally
- Sweet Berry Bushes and dragons breath no longer insta-kill you, same with any pool of liquid like acid and ooze.
- Increased iFrameInterval to 5 ticks, so you can attack 4 times per second and receive damage 4 times per second, it was previously 20 times per second. This should help when being swarmed by zombies and other mobs.
- Fixed the voice lines that tell you the coordinates to enter a rift to get to nullspace and gummy land. They weren't being triggered before.
- Removed Phantom Ruby from chests in 8-bit dimension, it crashes the game if you’ve changed a specific game rule
Removed:
- Removed Mega torches. With adding turrets, and search lights and button lights I feel the mega torch gives you too much protection from mobs spawning around your base.
Stuff you don’t care about:
- Created a turret item icon (it was previously a spawn egg, gross)
- Changed all the colored wall light colors because the author of the mod doesn’t know he’s color blind, seriously…
- Added emissive textures to searchlights and button lights when using shaders because lights should glow
- Fixed Iron Ingots daily quest, the description said Iron Nuggets

Added:
- Parties will now remember if you're partied up until a server reset. If a player gets disconnected and rejoins the server, it will place them back into the party automatically.
- When partying up with people, there's now an "accept" button that shows in chat. You no longer need to go into your quest menu to accept party requests.
- You can now eat and oversaturate yourself with both saturation and hunger. So if you have 2 empty hunger, and eat something that fills 4 hunger, it won’t go to waste(you won’t see hunger overfill, it’s hidden). This means you don’t have to eat as often if you’re running around a lot.
- Added keybind to toggle the potion status on your screen, use “]” key to toggle
- When clicking a checkmark in the quest menu for a task, if the quest book no longer needs to be open it will now close automatically. No more needing to hit esc to exit the gui when you warp to your death location, or warp friends to you, etc.
- Increased zombie night spawns a bit
- Added Discord rich presence so people can see you’re playing Jetpack Cat, and what dimension you're in.
- Added message to dedicated server screen: “If you leave a dedicated server, you’ll have to restart your game before you can rejoin. It’s a bug, sorry.”
- Added a message to the world creation screen to encourage pre-generating the world for an even smoother experience.
- Made the on-screen potion effects status less distracting
- Updated the main menu, pause menu and made the death screen better
- Added green blood particles when using a sword
- Good AI now makes fun of you for dying :)
- The Wither on the main menu sometimes escapes now, don’t fall in the jar looking for him
Fixed
- Lycanites mobs were previously leveling up much faster and higher than they were supposed to. Significantly brought their leveling down so while you'll encounter some Lycanites mobs being harder than others, they won't be exceedingly harder.
- Fixed the dodge tutorial notification staying on screen if you fall to your death before completing the tutorial, now it just doesn’t show :)
- Fixed the amount of ammo you get when purchasing a gun
- Main menu music reduced in volume a tiny bit
- Lowered the amount of damage creepers do to half of what it was, they were a little op
- Ground blocks like dirt and cobblestone no longer have loot beams which could become annoying when mining
Version 2.0
There’s around 300 commands that execute in the background throughout your playthrough. They’re triggered by different things you do, things you don’t do, and some commands trigger other commands that trigger other commands. I probably don’t know about whatever problem you’re having until you tell me about it. Join the Discord to give feedback so I can fix any problems in the modpack. Thanks!
Added:
- Party up with friends! Partying up allows you to see each party members’ health in the top left corner of your screen. (I currently cannot edit how it looks or its position on the screen, I contacted the dev, he said he can implement some changes for his next update). Go into the progress page of the black market to send a request to every member in the server. If you receive a team up request, click the accept team request quest in the progress page below the team up quest. Partying up with people is only to see their real-time health, it has no other mechanics in the game.
- FTB Chunks was added as the new world map and mini map. People have asked for better visibility of team members, and this is currently the only way to see other players on the map. You can only see them if they’re within your chunk loading radius. You won’t see them outside of your chunk view distance.
- Dedicated server! (let me know on Discord if anything wonky happens while you’re playing)
- Gun colors are now unlocked by doing quests. Once that color is unlocked, it’s unlocked forever and any gun may be traded in for free for that color.
- Daily quests! Some rewards allow you to select from a list of items, other rewards are given to you randomly from a list. There’s definitely a risk to reward factor with these quests. They alternate by the day of the week.
- Refresh button for daily quests: If it’s turned from one real day to the next while you were in-world(late night play sessions), press the refresh button to have it give you the new daily quest.
- Warp to last death: You can now pay an amount in xp coins to teleport to where you last died. If you were far from home, you can now get back to your stuff. If you use a waystone before using warp to last death, it will instead warp you to the waystone you just used, so don’t use any teleportation mechanics until you’ve warped to your death spot.
- Warp friends to you! If you’re in battle and your friend or friends die, you can now pay an amount in xp coins to send everyone a teleport request, if they accept it, they’ll be teleported to your location.
- Added voice lines to gun color unlocks and completing the daily quest
- Added a mod to prevent farmland trampling, preventing lag when around structures that generate a lot of farmland with pillagers.
- New main menu… Jerry almost made it… Almost…
- Revive All Players! A new feature in the quest menu. Pay one gold coin to revive all downed players on the server
Fixed:
- Fixed rocket jumping with the grenade launcher, it actually works now.
- Hopefully fixed players getting fall resistance when spawned into a dedicated server for the first time. Die you little mongrels! Learn to jump and dash!
- Fixed player movement speed for dedicated server
- Fixed all players getting the dimensional sound when entering a dimension, now only the player entering that dimension gets it.(ha - woops!)
- Fixed night and morning sound doubling for each additional player on the server (woops again!)
- Ever so slightly toned down the number of zombies that spawn in one of the waves of zombies at night. Ever so slightly.
Removed:
- Xaero’s mini map and world map are now removed, and replaced with FTB chunks map. Xaero’s map doesn’t allow you to see players' heads on the map, unless you enable all entity heads, and that feature lags the game HARD.

Also removed the iron ingot requirement from the backpack recipe and replaced it with a stick to make it easier to craft.Arcade Mode button only shows when in creative now. When you start spawning mobs it throws you into survival. When you stop spawning mobs it throws you back into creative.

- Removed duplicate morning and night sound that would play when playing with a friend or on server
- Fixed arcade mode spawning mobs when you choose a loadout, it will now only spawn mobs after you click the "start spawning" button
- Added a delay of 5 minute to free items in the black market. This prevents people from spamming the item when on a FTBteam, which can cause lag if done repeatedly.
- Fixed the wooden pickaxe spam from hitting diamonds in the nether. It now gives you a single pickaxe when you enter the nether
- Fixed and changed some icons in the black market
- Fixed Arcade Mode campfire not coming with flint
- Removed/covered up the "collect all rewards" button from the quest menu so it cannot be used, it was having unforeseen consequences and causing issues.
- updated fishing loot pool to lower number of attachments (woops, left it at astronomical numbers)
- moved the dimensions chapter into the progress chapter in the black market. Looks better and gives you more information without having to switch between chapters.
