Welcome to Initium Arcanus 2, the official secuel of Initium Arcanus. This is a Thaumcraft 6 based modpack.

This is where everything starts. You will find a world with raw magic surrounding you. You can feel it passing by your hands straight in to your brain. You know you can manipulate it for your beneficts but... maybe there's something you cannot fight. In this modpack you can find tons of "new" recipes, custom trees, 3 more structures and much more. If you like exploring, fighting enemies and dominate the forces of magic, this is your modpack.

Here you can find Thaumcraft 6 + a lot of addons (almost every single Thaumcraft 6 addon) and a couple more mods thats enhancement the experience, such as Metal Chest, Storage Drawers and Bonsai Trees. There's plenty food provided by Pam's Harvestcraft and you can make awesome builds thanks to Chisel and Chisel & Bits.

Also, you can find Patchuli, with a custom guidebook to show you how vis has changed the world you know. In this guide you can find anything you need to know, and if there's something that it is not written, please let me know it! Also, this is a 'Progressive Modpack', meaning that you will start very slowly, but soon you will get enought materials and tools to craft super-duper fast.

Champions are back! Kill special mobs and gain some knowledge! I know having a ton of Thaumcrafts addons can be a bit overwelming, specially in the investigation phase. That's why I added Champions and custom loot, so you will gain some Curiosities to make everything a bit easier.

I've made a list of recomendations if you wanna start playing and you feel a bit overwelming:

-You will need a lot of diferent foods. You should start a really big farm or maybe start exploring your world and find some chest full of food. Take a look at CookingForBlockheads and Bonsai Trees.

-I highly recommend using bonus chest.

-You will need tables and tools from Artisans. You can obtain string using the Spider Web Sapling, and flint is a very good material to start. Every time you craft a tool, craft some of them.

-Some block/objets are locked behind Thaumcraft Research. You can hover your mouse over any item and press shift to tell you what do you need to investigate.

-Seeps drop their dyes! (yeah, bonemeal free).

*This is the final modlist. I will not be adding any other mods unless it is really necessary or someone came up with a new Thaumcraft addon.

Knownw bugs:

Using Optifine 1.12.2 HD U E2 will cause to not launch the game.

Due to a Thaumcraft's bug, in MULTIPLAYER you cannot craft any golems. This is not something I can fix, and since Azanor is not developing Thaumcraft 6 anymore this will not be solved. NOTE: in singleplayer the GolemPress Works fine.

Kinda like with Thaumcraft, Planar Artifice does not work on servers. You can update to the last version of the mod, but is a bit buggy and the Thaumonomicon tab seems empty. You will need to cheat all research.
